Black Mesa is getting a 5 star review from me because it is one of the only places in an American airport I have found that sells Pepsi products. I strongly prefer Diet Pepsi and Diet Mountain Dew to Diet Coke, and they had both products available. Getting to buy something I enjoy drinking made my 8 hours of flying... More

I was introduced to dirty chai in Co., but the Black Mesa Coffee Company in the airport makes a great cup. The service is very friendly too. If I were hungry, I'd try the green chili danish.

What a great place to eat, or take food to go. I got the Chicken Green Chile Stew to go, along with an apple pie/turnover with green chile. I took my treasures with me on the plane and back to Northern California where we ate our stew for dinner and apple green chile turnover for dessert Very yummy. You won't... More

I appreciate good coffee, but not at airport rates. I was hungry, so opted for a $10+ sandwich. It was simply turkey and cheese on marbled rye with lettuce, 1 small mustard packet and 1 mayo packet. Good, tasty and filling.

I wanted an iced decaf skinny hazelnut coffee, but was told that it was not available in decaf, but I could get it in a latte. I did not realize that would be considerably more expensive. It was refreshing, I'm just not sure it was worth the price.

I'm usually the straight, no flavored type coffee drinker, but decided to try the chocolate flavored, iced coffee. It was surprisingly good. I also had the cheese roll-up, again, was surprised at how good it was. The only drawback, would you believe... was the salsa. It was very bland and not to "Albuquerque standards" known for their chili. My total... More

First the staff was great, second the soup is really good and I paired it with the green onion and ham quiche. if you haven't had their quiche you are missing out.

Happened upon this quaint shop while waiting at the airport and was delighted with the wonderful coffee (I drink it black so it has to be the best). My chicken salad on a crescent roll was superb.

I keep coming here for coffee when I'm flying. The staff really needs to be better trained in the art of espresso. A cappuccino does not weigh the same as a latte. Is there any coffee in there?? If you're going to have a coffee shop hire people who Love coffee!! Always a disappointment.

Without a S'Bucks at this lovely Sunport airport, someone suggested trying Black Mesa Coffee. wow! I loved it. Pinion coffee with a mocha flavor. Really enjoyable. You must try the Biscochitos...a wonderful sugar cookie-like biscuit with a touch of anise. Great for 'dunking' in milk or coffee. the staff were cheerful...always nice at an airport :).
