Highly recommend! Not only was our food really tasty (Chelsea sandwich, Triple Decker Sandwich, Egg Salad sandwich, Tuna sandwich, Waldorf salad, Pasta Salad, Turkey Sandwich, Key Lime cake) our waitress, Bobbi, was really nice and super accommodating! She understood the need for food *right now* for our hungry, melting down kiddo and had a sandwich in front of him in... More

French Dip and Green Chicken Chili for me and it was great. My other had Egg Salad with Green Chicken Chili and it was yummy. We shared the chocolate chip potato chip cookie for dessert and loved it. The staff was very nice and the price is great. Big servings and small prices.

Great lunch spot. Sandwiches excellent, Posole on Tuesday is a must and the green chile chicken soup is really good. Service always top notch. Find this place for lunch, you will not be disappointed.

Great food and service. Bobbie was our waitress very friendly/helpful and on the spot attentive. We had the gyros and Chelsea sandwiches with the Greek salad . Oh yeah they were great. The mint chocolate cake is .......... To die for Divine!! Everything is made on site and is evident by the freshness.. Visit and enjoy!!

Lunch has always been served on time, with a smile, and always reliable. Their generous portions are fresh and tasty. My personal favorite is the choice of 3 salads. They will substitute a soup for one of their salads. The cream of mushroom is outstanding!

While it's lacking in atmosphere, it's enough tucked away from sight that you can usually find a table even when Old town is mobbed. Locals go here for good, home-made food. I love the fact that they will substitute fresh fruit for fries or chips.

My sister, niece and I ate SW ABQ. The food was absolutely delicious! We each got a different sandwich and tasted each others. There was none that we didn't like! I ordered the mushroom soup....homemade with LOTS of mushrooms. One of the best I've ever had. Try the Chelsea or the Arty special! My niece had the special of the... More

We ate jere right before our show at The ABQ Little Theatre. We enjoyed the friendly staff as well as what we ordered. My husband had an open face tuna melt (which I had a bite of) which we both thought was a great tuna melt. My niece & I had the green chile chicken soup, which warmed us up... More

My sandwich could have been less soggy on the bottom, but it couldn't have arrived faster...despite the lunch rush. And the soup was great. My colleague enjoyed his lunch, too. Service was as friendly as it was efficient...Cheese & Coffee is a great place to know about if you're lunching in Uptown.
