I come here at least once a year while in ABQ. I've tried other Vietnamese restaurants here, but this is my favorite. The Bahn Xeo is very good, pho is tasty, appetizers are yum.

May's had the best Vietnamese food in Albuquerque - and plenty of vegetarian selections if that is your desire. The restaurant if close to the State Fair grounds and therefore I would highly recommend it for lunch or dinner if you find yourself at the "Expo" for an event of the flea market. Prices are moderate - the staff friendly... More

Very friendly and prompt staff. Requested stir fried eggplant and drip Vietnamese coffee. The coffee was perfect and delicious. The eggplant not so much. The eggplant texture was more like steamed vs stir fried. This was disappointing. Asked for it to be "spicy hot". It came out mild. A side of chili sauce came out later to help, but destroyed... Only been twice since we discovered another place for Pho. May Café was nice, small and staff was good. Pho was fairly good but the first day we went, the ingredients did not seem that fresh. The second time, it was much better. Spring rolls with rice paper were good but I have to say, my wife makes better ones.... More

We found this restaurant in the AAA book. We were craving something different after 7 days of eating NM chile/Mexican type meals. Being from the Twin Cities with wonderful Vietnamese restaurants, I was unsure what we would find here. We were delighted with the service, clean restrooms, and fabulous tasted dishes. HIGHLY recommend May Cafe. You will enjoy it!

this is a standard, I eat here frequently. Love the food. Consistently good. Service is always prompt. Staff always friendly and attentive. Love the noodle soups, good for what ails you on a cold and dreary day. Yum 8-9 on a scale of 10.

May is a good Vietnamese restaurant in an odd location that has a huge lumber jack statue on its roof. I've eaten there twice and have found the food to be very good. It is a sure fire favorite for many locals and has been around a long time. It's worth trying Vietnamese food, it's fresher, simpler and lighter fare... More

Being new to the area my boss brought me here for a working lunch. After being seated and making meal selections, it did take some time for us to place our order and get served. She had the pho and I went with the basil beef lunch. My meal was served very well made to order and extremely fresh. Atmosphere... More

I love coming here for the appetizers, you have to give the bacon wrapped shrimp a try! You will enjoy! Service sometimes can be mediocre but the food is worth the visit.
