There were 7 of us in our group--all from Australia and we were rather boisterous. Our waiter, Charles, egged us on and made the evening a really great night. It wasn't crowded but we had other diners coming up telling us it was nice to see people enjoy themselves so much. The food was wonderful and well priced and the... More

We were delighted with the food and service. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Our food was well presented and delicious. We went a little later in the evening and staff took time to tell us a little about the area and what it offered. We certainly will go back.

Great service and very decent pasta and sauce. There's lots of parking. The place is easy to find. We went early so totally not crowded. The servers were helpful and funny. We cook Italian, so we're fussy, and we were both satisfied. I had just plain pasta with meat sauce and enjoyed it. The pasta was not mush and the... More

Our party of nine left the Zoo looking for a place to get some lunch. One of our party (me) had been to Capos and remembered it as a good place to eat, so we went there. Still great food, and we ordered nine different meals - no complaints, only compliments. I love their meat sauce. My Veal Parm was... More

We went to Capo's for dinner tonight and it was excellent. I tried the special which was a layered chicken pasta with light green chili alfredo sauce. WOW. My daughter got a calzone and loved it. It was giant and she ate almost the entire thing and had room for chocolate cake. She weights about 100 lbs soaking wet! My... More

Upon arriving at Capos, The woman hostess(perhaps owner) was in a tyraid, yelling and pounding on the front desk at a man whose card to pay his tab was not working. She was way overboard, and threatening to call the police. To de-escalate the scene, I paid the man's bill. She was not grateful and said that I did him... More

If you are in Albuquerque and just a little bit tired of TexMex and Mexican cuisine, Villa di Capo provides an excellent alternative. The restaurant is located in a historic landmark building (for all you architecture aficionados, it is an excellent example of the Art Deco style). The interior is tastefully decorated to invoke a Roman ambience. The food is... More

While at a conference in Albuquerque this restaurant was within walking distance to our hotel ,The Hyatt. Old time setting for good Italian food. Our party of six all enjoyed their meals and when the bill came we were all pleasantly surprised. There are limited restaurant choices in the downtown area ,but this restaurant is a good choice for basic... More

I enjoyed the manicotti. Food was great, staff was attentive. The music from the 1940s was relaxing a suited the design and decor. Privce was resonable.

We went for a reception dinner. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Appetizer of the mozzarella sticks was very good. The salad and house bread was good, one exception is the "spread" vs real butter. I had fettuccine Alfredo, very over cooked and bland. No fresh Parmesean cheese was offered, I used what was on the table and still had... More
