While staying several days at Hotel Andaluz, we had two breakfasts and 1 dinner at MAS. First breakfast we each had the breakfast bowl of eggs, potatoes, cheese, etc. They were each big enough to share, if needed. Coffee was great! Second breakfast we each...had the yogurt parfait of yogurt, granola and berries. It came in a pretty glass which looked small, but it became bottomless and we were happy and full. For dinner we shared the bread plate with lightly toasted pieces of soft bread, hummus, roasted garlic, red peppers, a chutney and a bit of salad. Delish. My husband had the Tomahawk Pork Chop, which was huge, tender and juicy. It came with mashed potatoes and asparagus. I had the Paella with chicken/shrimp. Came in a large bowl with plenty of chicken, shrimp and chorizo in the rice. Both entrees were well-prepared and delicious. The restaurant is modern and pretty. A large room, which was mostly full for dinner. The volume in the restaurant was low. Above all, the staff deserves six stars. They were prompt, attentive and cordial. Highly recommend!More

We had a very good Christmas dinner at this restaurant. There was a Christmas menu with massive amount of food for $ 75 per person, but the management was flexible enough to let us choose tapas from the main menu as well as from the...tapas menu. We had good wine and beer as well. It was not cheap, but all in all we had a nice round meal.More

Easy to make reservations online, and to change reservations by phone when running late. Parking is available on the street (metered but free after 6pm I think). Difficult to find hotel entrance (no solo restaurant entrance). The hotel itself is nice, but things around it...were eerily deserted and closed — wouldn’t have felt safe walking around the neighborhood. Hostess was attentive and welcoming. Very quiet on a Wednesday night. Waitress arrived quickly and answered our questions. Food was mediocre and expensive. Good: patatas bravas were perfectly cooked and broiled. Okay: Brussels sprouts were huge, which meant the outsides were very toasted and inside was raw. Bad: The paella (most expensive dishes) was undercooked and oddly flavored (strong tomato paste flavor). We mentioned this as feedback to the waitress, who offered to cook it more (but can’t really do that with paella and rice, and the kitchen was closing). Suggest you skip this and find a better restaurant and more lively neighborhood.More

Delicious tapas. Quick service. Loved the empanadas and egg rolls. Served us in the hotel bar after the red closed. Will be back.

We were downtown at the convention center and decided to try this restaurant because it was close by. Our server was just awesome. She helped us with deciding what to order, basically we asked her to order for us. WOW, the food was delicious. We...had scallops, Shrimp and the Dates. Everything was cooked perfectly and even the cocktails were spot on. Very glad that we stopped by.More

The best food we had in Albuerque and as good as a lot of similar dishes we have had in Spain. The staff were excellent. Whereas some Americans say they have found the service slow as Brits we appreciated not being rushed and having time...to enjoy our dinner.More

Terrible waitresses. Some hot dishes served almost cold. Chef is terrible. Management of a restaurant the worst I've ever experienced. Unfriendly bartenders. Don't trust their posted hours. The management changes them as they please. Waitresses untrained on how to respond to customers. I know we...ate there twice in one day. We would never go back. A horrible experience. Some dishes served with bizarre sauces and seasonings. So much so as to wreck the taste of the dishes.More

The tapas were great but the service was outstanding. I was here for a business dinner with colleagues. Our first attempt to get here was thwarted by a backed up kitchen as we were informed they couldn't take anymore walk-in customers. Be sure and make...a reservation. Kudos to Bianca, our waitress, who made sure we we had an enjoyable experience.More

We are here twice at lunch time as it was convenient since we were staying at the hotel. The Cuban sandwich was over cooked and the cheese crunchy - not what we were used to calling a Cuban sandwich - we expected our salad before...the meal and not with it but it had a nice dressing on it and was quite tasty. Our second try of a hamburger was better but not medium as we ordered but tasty. We requested the salad before the meal specifically but that was forgotten and a 10 minute search for ranch dressing seemed ridiculous. The fries were some of the best thin fries we have had in a long time. The chocolate cake was definitely not worth $10 - please don’t even think about it. I understand good help is hard to get and it seemed like she was trying but both times getting service was a stretch…..More

The staff were not focused on serving guests. The seating process was somewhat awkward when the restaurant was not busy, at all. I couldn't get a glass of water. The menu selection looks very interesting, however, the food fell flat on all levels. Asparagus Calabacitas...had 1 sliver of asparagus. When I sent back this item, the next dish came out to punish me, with 3 pieces of raw garlic in the dish. The duck was average and had a decent flavor, however, the accompanying plated items weren't memorable. The Executive Chef needs to get with his team, and manage out the people that ruin dining experiences for the guests.More

Some of the best food that we’ve had in Albuquerque. Creative, beautifully presented and delicious too! I love small plates and sharing — it allows us to try something new and order favorites as well. We will definitely be back!

Really enjoyed my meal at MAS. Loved the pink (rose) sangria. The Shishito peppers were reminiscent of one of my favorite appetizers in Spain. Shrimp and chorizo were excellent.
