Flavors were great but the just dumped my hamburger into the basket with the ingredient just falling all over the place...I love a sloppy hamburger but that was a lazy hamburger.

We were in town on a busy weekend but got a table without waiting. Good hand pressed burgers, even from kids menu. Good gluten free bun.

We we're looking for a local place for take out lunch. Quaint place, great food, five different items purchased and none were disappointed. Burger, chicken philly, elk burger, Reuben, chicken strips. Awesome seasoned fries.

We had 2 double elk burgers one with onion rings, other with Mac & chez bites. Everything is made fresh. Wait time 10 to 20 min depending on what burger you got. It took 15 min for ours. A comb is just burger and fried. Onion ring or mac & chez, sweet potatoes are 2.50 more. Plus pop is extra... More

They're billed as the best burgers in Estes Park. Not in my opinion. Maybe my expectations were too high. They are not char-broiled on an open flame, cooked to order. Seems like they're pre-cooked and waiting to be put on a bun when a patron orders. Fries were short and dry. My experience may be an exception, but I won't... More

One of the better burgers to have in Estes Park in my family's opinion. Fairly priced, more of the homemade taste for a burger. Generous amount of fries with each plate. Great atmosphere inside. Will get very busy for lunch and dinner. Suggest off-peak times for eating to avoid long lines.

I'm a huge connoisseur of burgers and a chubby guy, so I feel like I know my burgers. The double cheeseburger was amazing. They also serve home made fries which were amazing, and sadly a dying art to the frozen crap. My wife chose to eat a Philly Steak and of course I snook a bite... also great. If you... More

We stay in a cabin when we visit Estes and do a lot of our own cooking. But when we crave a burger, we head to Penelope's. Great burgers that you can have just about anyway you want it. Thick & juicy too. We also recommend the onion rings. It's a small place with a little bit of seating out... More

There is always a line at this restaurant but worth the wait. My husband and I always get something different and share food. Burgers here are great and love the fires and onion rings.
