We had the enchilada plate and the pork carnitas. Both were really good and lots of food. Needed to-go box for all the pork! Good family atmosphere, nothing fancy, but friendly and clean with good prices.

Restaurant was off the beaten tourist route and few people were there when we arrived mid afternoon.. Mexican food was good, not great. Salsa was different from what we usually get. Service was good. We like On the Border better and it is less expensive.
The waitstaff was attentive and the portions were ample. However, the food was very average. It makes me wonder what all the favorable reviews were based on. I don't go to restaurants for the ambiance, but if you do, this one has little.
