My husband and I went into this restaurant for breakfast. Ordered the omelette and those omelettes were the best!! Fluffy, generous sized and good. Laid back atmosphere, nice people.

Best breakfast in town. Love the old-fashioned decor -- like going back in time to the 60s-70s. Excellent service and pretty good menu. Friendly locals eat here.

Best Blue Berry Pancakes anywhere. Great for Breakfast or Lunch and conveniently located at the West end of Elkhorn Avenue, west past the water wheel. They also do catering for that wedding or family reunion you are planning.

We were on the hunt for a place to grab breakfast at 10am and found this place. The food was very good. Their green chile sauce had the right amount of spice and flavor. Diner atmosphere was what we were expecting and that's what we got. Staff was very pleasant.

While visiting the RMNP for a winter weekend, we wanted to find a restaurant that provides good home cooked style meals. There are so many food choices at the Big Horn that it is difficult to decide. Both visits we were seated immediately and service was pretty fast. We had lunch on Friday before going into the National Park. The... More

We have breakfast here EVERY time we go to Estes and have never been disappointed. Superb breakfast (huge portions), especially the omelets and breakfast burrito. Had the bison chili on top of my omelet and it was incredible. Lots of places in Estes offer average food, iffy service and high prices, but this place is consistently good. Great comfort food... Very nice variety of breakfast options. Grits were awesome. Waffles were a little crispy for my taste but they tasted fine. In the summer you can have their deli make you a box lunch to take on your adventures while you are eating your breakfast. Service was very effiicient and friendly.

We like going to the Big Horn for breakfast. This place isn't fancy, but the food is good and service is too. We always feel welcome here. I like grits, and they are optional instead of hash brown potatoes. Serve breakfast until 2pm. The lunch menu has good comfort food options. A lot of locals eat here, which we think... More

Home cooking, bottomless coffee, friendly faces, and eclectic decor. Big Horn Restaurant is the diner of choice in Estes and the perfect place for breakfast. Events can be held in the back room (catering available) and don't forget to check out some of the local art on display near the entrance.

We were celebrating my mother's 90th surprise birthday, so all of us daughters met at the Bighorn Cafe to wait my mom's arrival. Our waitress was wonderful, the mimosas werected great, and green chili soup and clam chowder was a wonderful. Our waitress took many many pictures for us, and she was most kind! I am so sorry I do... More
