Only open on Fridays now but Lobsters are still incredible! Good drinks and fresh seafood! Fried seafood is also excellent, Red chowder and clam cakes are the best around!

Had take out last night there. I had a dozen clam cakes and red clam chowder. This place has been around for a long time, great food and reasonable prices.

This place has changed physically over the years, and this review has been a long time coming. I've never had a bad meal here. I once had a problem with an order getting taken wrong by the waiter. The owner recognized me or just resolved the issue by replacing what was probably one of the pricier items on the menu... More

Excellent lobster ravioli with a killer sauce. Very tasty humus served with foccacia bread as the table bread. 3 pound steamed lobster was truly 3 pounds and cooked perfectly. Only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday but worth the effort finding it!

If you don't want to travel toff the city, this is a great neighborhood restaurant specializing in seafood. Menu is just right with enough selections but not overwhelming. Food is well prepared and service is swift and friendly. Recommended.

We went to Carrie's on Douglas Avenue two nights ago to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We visit Carrie's twice a year at least for their famous 3 lb. lobsters, and each visit has never disappointed. My husband always gets the Lobster Fra Diavlo which is the spicier red sauce. I could swear the lobster comes on a bed of more... More

Go to Carries at 1035 Douglas Ave. This is the home of the 3 pound lobster. Carries @ 1035 is the place to go to when you want lobster at its best.  In addition to the boiled, stuffed, lazyman or fisherman style, owner/chef mike o'brien will also do a grilled or fra diavolo style.  No skimpy lightweights here.
