This place was amazing. Our server Miriah was just exceptional. She was attentive and efficient, and very pleasant. Not only that, but the food was just delicious! We had the calamari to start and for dinner I had the pork tenderloin. It was honestly one of the best dinners I've ever had. The service made it that much better! So... More

Food - the smells, the presentation, the taste...wonderful. The sights and the scene is organized chaos. Fun place to be with friends. Not for intimate or casual conversation. A party atmosphere to put you in the mood for the theater or other points of interest downtown.

Enjoyable downtown dining (Tucson style), in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The food is consistently great and the staff always helpful, but not hovering. I've never had a mediocre meal and the menu changes with the seasons, they shop local and go sustainable. This is my go to restaurant when family/friends come to town, it has meals for any dietary... Zane our waiter made the evening a great experience. He knows the menu really well, is attentive, but not hovering. The Pork Belly Donuts with Caramel Foie Gras Sauce were truly delicious, as was the mushroom toast.

We went there for happy hour and appetizers. Sat outside on their patio. A little noisy due to the proximity of traffic but it was a nice evening so it was not inconvenient. The chef has multiple unique twists on his selections. The four of us enjoyed making multiple selections and we were no disappointed in any way. Happy hour... More

Downtown Kitchen is the creation of Chef Janos Wilder, possibly the top chef in Tucson. The dishes at the restaurant change over time but they're almost always well-prepared, tasteful, and imaginative. The restaurant is pleasant to sit in both inside and outside. It may be crowded in the high season (January-April). The wine and beer selection is good. However, the... More

My husband and I shared a very ordinary Caesar salad, followed by my excellent fish entrée. My husband's pork entrée was good, but far from memorable. We had two glasses of wine and two beers, and our total bill was $110 which is far more than similar meals we have enjoyed in Tucson. This was our first visit and neither... More

This restaurant has never failed us. The varied and interesting items on the menu have always been very good. The separate wine list is comprehensive but we have always used the smaller list on the menu itself. The only recommendation we have is to try something new from the menu every time you go.

This restaurant came highly recommended. It was off to a great start with the appetizers - ceviche cocktail and the calamari (probably the best calamari appetizer I have ever had and I love calamari). But, then came our entrees. I had the duck breast. The flavors in the sauce overwhelmed the meat. My wife had the chicken curry entrée. Not... More

Fantastic cocktails. Really great calamari, and appetizers are generally great. The entrees are "good," but given that they are "good" and not "incredible," the prices are really too high for Tucson. Overall, good place to go.

Thank David P
