Very fresh tasting. Goodly portions. Nice variety of rolls. Seemed to take a little long, but it was a week nite and only one sushi chef. Reasonable prices.

There are many "sushi" restaurants in Tucson. This one is authentic. It was one of my regular stops on the way home from work when it was my "turn to cook". The rolls and sashimi are prepared to order at the glass counter. I have never doubted the authenticity of the fish. Everything I've had is delicious.

my wife and I had stopped by another Japanese earlier but left without ordering when we came upon kazoku which means family in Japanese. I thought the restaurant was quaint and reminded me of the little lunch spots when I lived in Japan. They did have the most extensive selection of what I would call japanese comfort food. That I have... More

We noticed this restaurant for the first time when driving east on Speedway and decided to stop for dinner. At 6:15 p.m., only a couple of tables stood vacant in the room. The menu had a large number of offerings, including Korean specialties. I ordered sushi and my husband opted for chicken teriyaki. We found the service excellent, the setting... More

This was my first time eating sushi in Tucson, and I was quite pleased. I had a sashimi plate - the pieces were nice and thick, looked beautiful and tasted delicious. Very impressed. The roll choices were not mind-blowing, but there is enough there to keep you occupied. I'm more of a sashimi guy anyway. My wife got a chicken... More
