We asked to be seated in the formal dining room and the water was brought immediately. There was only one waiter serving this room whick had two other open tables. We were not recognized by the waiter for 10 to 15 minutes. When he did get around to taking to us he was not welcoming and had his mind on... More

Everyone needs to visit the Rendezvous at least once as it is exceptional in all ways, food preparation, quality, service and ambiance. While pricey, it is a culinary experience. We did the small plates for $6 each which allowed us to sample a number of delicious items. Escargot, frog legs and crab stuffed shrimp for $18, add a salad $8... More

What a wonderful surprise. I'm alone on a business trip - hate eating fast food on the road and tired of the typical family style mediocre places. I found them on Yelp - great find. I started with the Moules Provençales - phenomenal - the cream/herb soup was to die for. I asked for 1/2 a portion because I was... More

I joined friends who especially wanted to try the small plates, so we were seated in the Bistro area. The formal dining room at the back seemed quieter, and I appreciated the formal table settings. It will be my choice next time. The arrangement of the traffic area and location of washrooms is awkward, but en route, I had an... More

My wife and I go to this restaurant for special occasions, such as anniversaries or birthdays. However, we hadn't been in a few years due to some TripAdvisor reviews that indicated some difficulties with a change in management and starting a happy hour. As our 10th wedding anniversary approached I checked the reviews and they were mostly 4 and 5-star... More

This was our first time at the restaurant and it came highly recommended. It was so delicious. We tried several items. The baked Brie special with figs, onion soup, pear salad, a taste of Beef Wellington, and the stuffed lobster tail with crab, the special of the night. The Bistro section of the restaurant offers small plates-so its fun to... More

We celebrated our anniversary at Le Rendezvous and enjoyed a wonderful dinner. We started with mussels and snails then onion soup and beet salad. The snails were full flavored with garlic and the mussels were very good in a cream sauce. The beet salad was excellent lbut the onion soups was not exciting (but fortunately small.) The scallops were huge... More

Went for my grandmother's 70th birthday. We made reservations for a party of about 15. They didn't have the table set up, knew nothing about the reservation. Finally got seated then took them 30 minutes to just take our drink orders to which only half arrived. Another 20 minutes to order. None of the food was brought at the same... More

On visitsto Tucson, we have dinner at Le rendezvous and again we're not let down. While there are numerous items on the menu we could have easily ordered, we had what we often get, the escargot and beef Wellington. The escargot are in vhablis and garlic and very tasty. The beef Wellington, the best I've had, generous, rare and true... More

We arrived 30 minutes early for our reservation and were seated at the bar. We got no service there, although we even offered to serve ourselves to the many wait staff that were preparing drinks in front of us. 30 minutes later we were seated. It took over two hours to complete our dinner of drinks, appetizers and salads --... More
