We went at 3pm and felt very fortunate to be 3rd in line for a table after hearing about the long waits. The Clintons and other famous people are displayed in pictures all over the walls. The President's Platter is enough for two people unless you want another meal to eat later. Thought the food was very authentic, and was... More

A local suggested we eat here, and warned us not not to visit at peak times. We took the suggestion and only had to wait 10 minutes for a table. I enjoyed the decor and scouring the walls for all the celebrities that had eaten there, yes including Bill and William Shatner. My husband and I split the president's platter... More

Had dinner here while on a business trip to Tucson...there are no Pork Dishes on the Menu...difficult to fathom having Mexican food and not having any Pork Dish Selections. Had to wait and have to ask myself if the wait was worth it.. Our group's dishes were OK, that's the extent of my comments.

We arrived at 2:30 pm, we had a party of 5, we had a 45 minute wait. By the time we sat down and finished eating, another hour went by. So be prepared to spend at least 2 hours or more here. So I imagine that at dinner time there must be a longer wait time. The staff is very... More

On the recommendation of our waiter at a Mexican restaurant in Sedona, we tried Mi Nidito. It's a VERY popular restaurant, so you can expect to wait as much as an hour or more for a table just about any time you go. That said, the food was wonderful with very interesting preparations - definitely NOT the same stuff you... More

It gets busy around 5 pm with a 20-30 minute wait but it's worth it. Most of the eaters are Spanish speaking. Interior has character. Our waiter was a bit brusque but with the restaurant full and many waiting I guess this is to be expected. Pre-meal tacos and salsa were excellent as were the margaritas. My tamales were good.... Wow, this was so worth the one hour wait. Big menu and super traditional food to the region. I had amazing enchiladas and their guacamole was killer good. Very nice wait staff and fair prices. LOVED IT>

Our favorite Mexican restaurant in Tucson. Reasonable prices and generous portions. Spicy or mild, we love the salsa. Lots of entree choices and a pretty good margerita. It's always crowded, but worth the wait.
