Oh, Frankie's, how I love your cheesteaks soooooo much! I have been here on several occasions, and I always make a point to eat here when I'm back home in T-Town! I always get the 12" steak "wit" onions. I've tried American, Provolone, and the classic Cheez Whiz; none disappoint. I also order a small drink because they have free... More

Better to eat at for dinner than lunch - you can actually find parking then! Great atmosphere, excellent food and relatively large portions for the higher pricing. The at table peppers are FANTASTIC. Really only downers is parking can be a bear and prices are a little high, but for the best Philly Cheesesteak in AZ... Worth it!!

I used to come here all the time when I lived in Tucson, but I am now in Phoenix and only able to get here every few months. Just went back this past weekend and it is STILL delicious! My husband is from Philly and he says this place has the most authentic cheesesteaks he's had outside of Philly, so... More

I love it when your at Tucson meet yourself with the many food trucks around and I get a cheesesteak from Frankie's. I like to visit Frankie's eatery every couple of months to get my cheesesteak fix. The offer chips and tasty cakes from Philly. Eatery is small but very friendly. The owners enjoys walking around chatting when he's there... More

My buddy and I are here on a business trip and stopped here after seeing this location on TripAdvisor. Being from NJ and having had NUMEROUS cheesesteaks along with seeing it had high ratings, we gave it a try. We walked in and noticed hot peppers on every table in liquid. Look out hot stuff. It was a good sized... More

I have lived in Tucson for over 30 years passing Frankie's hundreds of times. I can't imagine why this was my first visit. What prompted me was watching a TV show that showed the making of some great looking Philly cheesesteaks - just before we are about to vacation in Philly. I asked my husband if Tucson had a cheesesteak... More

I have never had a "real" philly cheeses steak sandwich from philly, but if this is authentic I may have just had a bad one. It was an average sandwich. I got provolone but afterwards I regret not getting cheese wiz. Not sure if I will return to re assess. Overall just average.

My wife is originally from Philadelphia and grew up enjoying Pat's and Geno's, so she knows the real deal. Now living in Arizona I searched to find a lunch spot to surprise her. I suggested we try Frankie's. What a pleasant, fun, and tasty surprise. The building is nondescript and parking is a bit of a challenge, but when you... More

We hit Frankie's right at lunch time and it was mobbed. I can understand why. Although due to the crowds the service was slow, understandable, the Philly cheesesteaks were great. We both had cheese steaks and fries and rootbeers. The steak was delicious and the bread was authentic to the east coast. The place was clean as were the restrooms.... More

As Villanova grads ( go wildcats !) , my wife and I know the cheesesteak fakes. The are ALL over the place ! This is the real deal. Top notch meat, the right roll , grilled sweet peppers/ onions and the star of the show.... Cheese wiz ! Try these and you will never order a cheesesteak anywhere else in... More
