our party of four adults each tried a different menu option and came away with mixed thoughts. a quesadilla plate was done very well with perfectly prepared chicken in a tasty sauce. two different parrilla dishes lacked flavor intensity to highlight what central mexican cuisine can offer; and i do not mean "heat" on the food. subtle flavors is important... The food is always great, never disappointing. It's our favorite restaurant in Tucson and we take all our company there

They have good prices for the lunch specials and I enjoyed the house margarita. The tacos cochinita pibil were to dry and tasteless and the chiles rellenos were tasty but way too greasy, the chile colorado was good.

I liked the burrito I ordered but my wife did not like her fish tacos. The fish was fried and not what she expected. Service was good.

Whenever we visit Tucson we try to come here. We especially like the fact that this is Mexico City cuisine, quite unlike the prevailing Sonoran food offered locally. It is in my opinion more sophisticated and certainly here the food is excellent.

I travel a lot and I eat a lot of Mexican food but this was the best I've ever had. Great atmosphere; there was a live mariachi band when I was there. The chips and salsa are a little different than standard with a few different types of salsa. Affordable but not cheap. For two dinners, a margarita, and tip,... More

Great chain in Tucson. Family owned and run. Great Mexican food with plenty of unique dishes. Always fresh guacamole and tortillas. Great for families! You can't visit Tucson with out a visit to La Parrilla Suiza!

We decided to have a early dinner so we stopped in at La Parrilla Suiza. I had the #14 combo, 2 cheese enchiladas with 2 charbroiled beef tacos, rice and the charro beans. Wendy had the #20 combo , 1 beef tamale and 1 cheese enchilada with rice and charro beans. Chips and salsa come with all the meals. All... More

La Parilla Suiza (Spdwy) has always been a nice place to enjoy Mexican food. Lately, we have noticed it has not aged gracefully. The décor is typical for a Southwestern/Mexican theme but the tables, chairs and booth are showing the signs of age (or neglect). The food was good, the service, very slow. A family came in after our party... More

Very nice lunch. Only can review two items, the Chicken Chimi, and the Tortilla soup. Both were very good. We say that they are voted best Tortilla Soup and Tucson, so that is why we picked it. It was very good, not the best I have ever had. Now, the chips and salsa - outstanding. why - hot fresh chips,... More

We serve authentic Mexico City Cuisine that's a delightful alternative to other mexican restaurants. The exquisite cuisine of Mexico City is almost a world apart from northern mexican food. All our tacos, meat and cheese dishes are cooked on charcoal or grilled. Here we serve fresh handmade corn tortillas and authentic tangy delicious salsas. La Parrilla Suiza is the Mexico City Cuisine restaurant you can trust must to feed your family.
