We ate at Pastiche again last night. We are trying to give this place a chance, especially with the new owners. I had the steak. Even though I ordered it medium rare, it was tough and chewy. Poor quality cut of beef. My wife wouldn't eat hers. Our friend had the salmon cakes. They were just average. Waitress was nice... More

Went to Pastiche for happy hour at 5:15 on a Wednesday. I was rudely told if we didn't have a reservation, there was no room at the bar or anywhere in the restaurant for customers without a reservation. I've been dining here for years. What an unpleasant surprise. I guess the new owners are not big on customer service. I... More

We stopped going to Pastiche a while back because we felt the quality had suffered. Since it had been a while, we decided to try it again. We were very happy we did! Wonderful meal and service. My husband had the Cajun pasta, which was quite good and that's saying a lot since we had just returned from New Orleans.... More

I had only been here once b/4, but I met a friend there yesterday to see the Glen Gross jazz quartet (5:30 - 8:30). They have a very reasonable Happy Hour 'til 6:00 - nice selection of draft beers, $2 less than their regular prices. Appetizers are also discounted between $2 & $3 bucks. Chris was the waiter & he... We went here on st Patrick's day and the owners are isish who enjoy celebrating this holiday so our impressions may be biased by that sense of camaraderie that pervaded the restaurant. It was busy but everyone was cheerful. We each had generous side salads. I had fish and chips which were very crisp. My husband had lamb chops with... More

We dined there tonight with friends for the first time in about four or five years and were glad to return. We all enjoyed our Happy Hour drinks, shared appetizers, with four jumbo shrimp for us, nicely seasoned, and calamari for the other couple, lightly breaded. For main courses, three of us ordered the cioppino, two with pasta and one... More

I've been going to Pastiche' since they opened 19 years ago and they do everything right. You will be warmly welcomed when you enter and you will experience a wonderful meal at a fair price. The entree, wine, beer, and coctail selections are comprehensive with something for everyone. You can still get a decent bottle of wine in the +/-... More

After spending the day touring around the city of Tucson, our group of three people decided to have dinner at Pastiche. Our choice was well rewarded as we had a wonderful meal in a truly excellent restaurant. This is a modern American restaurant which has an interesting menu, modern interior design and art, and good jazz entertainment. The dining options... More

The entire menu looked delicious, so we decided to start with "small plates" of appetizers and then decide what else to order. After calamari, prosciutto crostini, stuffed jumbo shrimp wrapped with jalapeño bacon, and salmon cakes, all of which arrived on PLATTERS, we were so full we declined any more food! We made room for a new brew (for us,... More

Great local restaurant with innovative and creative menu - made even better by live jazz at weekends featuring the extremely talented Pete Swan and his band
