If you live nearby, then you probably have eaten here. Claire will meet you at the door and insure that you are comfortable. The food is good---nothing spectacular, but fairly priced. There is a Southwestern art museum on site, with a ton of things to see while you are eating for your food. Not open for dinner and closes around... More

My wife and I had Sunday morning breakfast at Claire's this morning. My wife ordered the Benedict Florentine and I ordered the eggs with the ham steak and a small side order of biscuits and gravy. My wife said that her Florentine and hash browns were "very good." However, my ham was dry and not flavorful; my home fries were... More

If you haven't been here and our looking for a home cooked meal type of establishment Claire's is the place to visit. I know both of the owners personally and have nothing but good things to say about both of them. I watch how they greet their guests it's like everyone that steps through the door is a family member... More

Reasonable prices on very good food . Excellent service from very personable staff . Very interesting ambience / decor. Good art by good artists - mostly Southwestern. Quesadillas to die for as well as great daily specials . Breakfast and Lunch only . Proprietor and her husband are there most days to welcome their diners . A cafe with character... More

We have eaten here several times and have always felt welcomed by the staff. I had a Denver omelet with hash browns and a HUGE biscuit and it was delicious! We also had the corned beef which was good. Pancakes are great, as well. This is a small diner with home made soup daily and just a great place for... More

Venue: Cramped, cluttered, old, but clean. Not sure why there’s art for sale, is this a restaurant or a gallery? Overall, not a pleasant venue. Service: Friendly, efficient but slow. In fairness, it was a Sunday morning. Food: We had eggs Florentine and corned beef hash with poached eggs. The Florentine was very skimpy, bread was small thin rounds, about... More

We stopped here on the way back from Biosphere 2. I had the Catalina which was turkey, bacon and avocado on rye bread. It was buttered and grilled, and was very good with its lean bacon and thinly sliced turkey. The fries could have been crispier but that did not stop me from finishing them. My husband had the chowder... More

This is a small unassuming place, which Claire has been running for decades. It's kind of hidden and mostly locals.

I read about Claire's Cafe and art gallery in a local business magazine.I was impressed with her contribution to individuals and organizations in her community, that I had to pay a visit to the cafe. It was a smooth 30 mile drive from Tucson to her cafe. The cafe is charming. It is sort of funky. However, the food was tasty, the server,Andrea, attentive... More
