Could be the best pizza anywhere...thin crust, light cheese, high quality ingredients, and extremely tasty. No slices, fabulous service.

There is a reason why this place is always packed. Since 1945. They started on Third Street in Mount Vernon. My grandparents took me there almost every Saturday from the time I could eat Pizza. Very thin crust. Johnny had a pie call "marinara". No chease but lots of garlic. My grandfather had him make it. 71 years later, it... More

As we live in Connecticut, a great pizza destination itself, Johnny's is just a bit out of our way to make it a frequent destination. But on our trips to and from NYC we try to stop at Johnny's for one of the great pies in the tri-state area. Traditional surroundings and good staff enhance the experience. Never disappoints.

They have been around for as long as I can remember. Simply put, they have the best pizza in Westchester.

Moved into the neighborhood and looking for a good pizza place, and saw the reviews about this place. It declared it one of the best pizza joints in Westchester and my family all agrees.

If ever there was a reason to go to mount Vernon New York this is about the only reason. This family oriented and operated restaurant is a testament to old world Italian pizza. Never a disappointment and always a spiritually uplifting pizza experience. If only you could get a slice to go lol. Problem is who could eat just one... More

Their pizza is excellent. Thinner crust than most nearby pizzerias. Service is OK. They are definitely more expensive than the neighboring pizzerias and they only accept cash.

I've been eating at Johnny's for years and they have hands down, the best pizza anywhere. This is an old school pizzeria and they only serve pies and no slices. The pizza is extremely thin and crispy, and the cheese goes on first and the sauce on second. Order more pizza than you think you can eat, since the pizza... More
