This place has great soup and since it was a cool, rainy day in May-soup was perfect. I had lobster which was tomato based instead of cream like a bisque-it was delicious and I could only eat 1/2 before I was stuffed. Hubby had clam chowder-it was amazing. Son had a vegan soup along with a wrap and said it... More

While visiting Salem on a cold winter day, we happen across this shop. What warms you up better than a brandy? Soup. The owner and server was nice with a touch of humor. Out of four people, everyone enjoyed their meal. I especially like a chili I tried. The décor is nothing to write home about and seating is limited.... More

We stopped here on a whim and I am so glad that we did. He let us try before buying, which was very nice. I had a lima bean soup and my mom had chicken noodle. We also bought two bottle teas to go with. You could taste the freshness and all the flavors. Stop here!

We visited this restaurant the weekend of Halloween in Salem so it was busy to say the least. The soups were delicious. They have both vegan and vegetarian options which is always appreciated. The sandwiches however were okay at best. They had two vegetarian options and neither were particularly appealing. I would have been better off getting a larger soup... More

I'm vegan and The soup for me was split pea pumpkin soup and it was like nothing I have ever eaten!! It was incredible! We went there two nights in... More

Dan and I came upon this charming little establishment at the right time (we were starving) and they were open :) . What a great find. The owner is a wonderful man who treats his customers like family and makes different soups every day. I don't like lima beans and he cajoled to try the soup and I loved it.... More

The clam corn chowder is so good it will make a person speak in tongues and roll about in the floor. There's a choice of wheat rolls, white rolls or oyster Crackers. Pass on the white rolls and oyster Crackers. The wheat rolls are chewy with a slight tang. How I wish they were close to where we live.

Love this place - right in the downtown but could easily be missed. They have the best chicken pot pie soup! Definitely a must when you go.

Soup is not too bad. Prices are okay starts at $5 and goes up. The to go containers do leak found out in the car. Eggplant soup and double onion aren't bad just very oily and more broth than substance.

Even on a hot day this soup was great. The menu is small but everything is fresh and it seems that they are making their best attempt to locally source food and keep things healthy.
