Stopped for a bit on our visit to Salem based on the reviews. Seafood was fresh...had the crabcake sandwich and haddock, both were very good! Good prices and options for kid friendly options. Great service! Overall good experience. Limited menu options though...didn’t notice shrimp dishes...thought...More

Went on a weeknight. Seated at time of our reservation. Clean and inviting interior. Great waiter who was on top of everything. The chowder was well balanced and not too creamy. The Irish nachos were unique and super tasty! Loved my stuffed lobster, but my...More

Good food. Bad experience. Six of us for 25th Anniversary. We informed the waitress of our problems - first a lovely but blinding sunset thru a full glass door (made worse as it was over the water}. There were shades for the windows but not...More

Hello, I am so sorry to hear about this experience.. Guest feedback is the best training tool I use. I am new to the company so I would love to chat. Do you happen to remember your servers name? Thanks so much, Jamie Zeff

Well, on a Monday night, the day before a good sized New England Nor'easter (2 feet of snow at my house), we went out to dinner a Finz and the place was basically deserted. We started with a Cosmo each ($10) and then had appetizers....More

Good seafood offerings with some particular standouts: the fantastic fried oysters appetizer with a spicy dipping sauce; the lobster ravioli, which few restaurants have on their menus; the stuffed haddock with crabmeat. Service is good; and in warm weather, the outdoor seating facing the harbor...More

This was my first visit to Finz in awhile but it's meals & wait staff remain good, but I wasn't wowed. The fish was fresh & well-plated and if I had a complaint it would be on the amount....way too much! The wait staff were...More

FINZ is a fun place in Salem, Mass. While it is hard to appreciate the waterfront location in winter, the crowd is enough to be lively but there are no excessive waits and the service is excellent. The menu also features some unique seafood dishes....More

On a cold, January mid-week night, our large group was seated near the fire in the bar area. Our server was excellent. Husband loved the special that the server recommended. I had the baked lobster since I didn't want to deal with a whole lobster...More

You'll enjoy this place if you like seafood. We went on an off-night and the service was excellent and the food very good. Awesome lobster roll! Chowder was okay but was wild about the use of seasoning.

Love the ambiance in this place, we were immediately seated at a table overlooking the water, too bad it was at night but I am sure it would be a beautiful sight. We got there a bit later in the night and only wanted some...More

Yes, on tap there was Cape Ann Reel Easy, and a couple of others. One or two in bottle, and a couple of others in cans (I remember Harpoon being one of them). Prices for IPA’s ran $5-$9.

Nope. There's little on the menu that would please the average child. Thankfully mine like mussels, so his "kid's meal" was an $18 appetizer. 😒

No, Salem has plenty of street parking spots where the restaurant is located, but this is very busy area with other shops and restaurants, so it may be hard to find a spot close to the restaurant.
