I only stopped in quick for a slice of cheese pizza (which was very good) but my 4 stars are for the decor alone. I'm a big geek and this place was just too cool! I wish I lived in Salem just to hang out here! Star Wars, Trek, Doctor Who, etc everywhere!

Salem at Hallowe'en is a wondrous time and getting into this restaurant was terrific - great flatbread, good beer, good service. THANKS.

The place was packed to the gills; we chose to sit outside, as inside seating would have meant a 45-minute wait and we were HUNGRY! Turned out to be a good decision, as it was fun people-watching the tourists in Lappin Park as we waited for our pizza. We had the Mars Attacks, which is a red sauce pizza with... More

Pizza was yummy! The atmosphere is fun! Highlight of our day in Salem! Also, I loved the "Human's" restrooms.

This place was amazing! Great atmosphere and service. Great full bar and beer selections. Vegan pizza options were available which is a rare find. I had a vegan pizza with tomato and pesto and it honestly tasted like the real thing. My boyfriend had a non vegan pizza and said it was also great.

My family loves this place. Every time we come, we get good service and great food. My only complaint would be that the menu is a bit difficult for children. We always figure something out for them though. They deliver also!

We popped in here during our last night in town August 2015 and grabbed a pizza to take back to the hotel. I would've loved to stay but it was pretty busy, they were having a trivia night which looked like a ton of fun and everyone was really into it! The wait for food was standing room only but... More

Eaten here a few times. The pizza is good and the atmosphere fantastic! I enjoy looking at all the different scifi items they have around the room. It is more of a thin pizza for those wondering.

The pizza at this company is absolutely delicious. I ate here a few times while in Salem and I definitely wasn't disappointed. The staff here were certainly NOT Friendly - with the exception of a young waitress who was a doll... It's too bad that the other three staff members that I met during my visits weren't like her. If... More

We had lunch at this pizza joint. They had good beer on tap, but the pizza they had available on the day of our visit was only so - so. I would not be inclined to return to this place.

Description
Flying Saucer Pizza Company landed in downtown Salem on the historic date of August 3, 2012 - directly next to its sister restaurant Gulu-Gulu Cafe.

The mission: to abduct traditional pizza and give it a healthy gourmet spin. Our eclectic pizza menu showcases a variety of fresh and local ingredients. With our designer pizzas inspired by available seasonal ingredients, our menu evolves and changes throughout the year.

In addition to our great selection of New York style pizza, we serves great salads, beers, wines, and dessert! Charlie the Space Pug, the Flying Saucer's fearless leader, offers peace (and warm bellies) to all who enter - omnivores, vegetarians, vegans, and gluten-intolerant earthlings alike.
