Our hotel, the Merchant, provided a voucher for breakfast at several eating establishments. We chose this one. The coffee and food was very good. The service was excellent. We enjoyed being with the locals.

I walked in intending to get an almond milk latte but decided on a pumpkin spice chai when I saw it on the wall. Tis the season right? It was pretty boring. There was some initial spice flavor, but finished very watery. It just didn't have the flavor I was hoping for. Not rich, nor creamy. I probably should have... More

This was as part of our stay at The Merchant Hotel and is a nice little boutique coffee house. Food and coffee is fine with friendly staff

Chris and Brenda the owners have created a wonderful lunch coffee spot in Salem. Half sandwiches and special sides allow for a lunch geared to your taste. Orange slices instead of chips agrees with me. The staff is a bit progressive and the service always tops. Highly recommend!

The coffee is delicious. They have several choices of regular coffees to choose from, I had the toasted coconut and it was yummy. The bagels are good, I cannot recommend the scones as mine was extremely dry. A nice coffee spot.

The oatmeal with soy milk was practically life-changing. So good. Coffee was great, too, nice, chill vibe, a/c and wifi. Loved it.

I have been here about 10 times. Pros is it is affordable but the con is the staff are the rudest people ever. I would suggest if you want someplace with a comfortable atmosphere and pleasant staff go to Gulu Gulu.

The Merchant Hotel provided breakfast coupons for Front Street Coffeehouse. It has a great vibe and good strong coffee. We also sampled different juices and smoothies over the weekend and all were good.
