I have dined here twice for lunch with my mother. I must say the service was very friendly both times and the food was good. It is obviously a chain-type restaurant so don't expect a Japanese style sushi restaurant. It offers something for everyone. The Poke appetizer is quite good, and as I mentioned before both times the servers were... More

This used to be the BEST sushi in Alamo Heights by far. Greatest ever bar service if Rhonda and/or Rosie there. Used to be best rolls and freshest sushi/sashimi. Used to have their "off menu" rolls. My favorite WAS Ranger Roll. So, what happened??? They stopped carrying the most delicious sushi (white tuna) that was our favorite. Some lame excuse... More

I know, Good Sushi from a land locked Texas city...who knew?!?! Having grown up in the SF Bay Area and traveled all over the US & Canada, I have tried many different sushi restaurants. Sushi Zushi is a great place to come for good sushi. We started off with an unfiltered Sake. The Server recommended Moonstone Coconut Lemongrass which was... More

Best sushi in Alamo Heights by far. Greatest ever bar service if Rhonda and/or Rosie there. Best rolls and freshest sushi/sashimi. Ask about their "off menu" rolls. My favorite is Ranger Roll. Pretty decent happy hour but, nothing special. Seriously, if you want fresh, generous portions, unique rolls, greatest ever service (Rhonda and Rosie), happy environment then go. Love Sushi... More

We have been longtime, loyal customers of Sushi Zuchi. When under the management of Josh and Rhonda at the bar; the service, attention, quality of food and presentation was nothing short of perfect. Ever since Josh was moved from Lincoln Heights this location has suffered tremendously. Please bring Josh back...we want to come back.

Been several times and won't go elsewhere. Sashimi is fresh and always served large delicious pieces. The Ranger Roll is addicting. What is best of all are the bartenders. I always eat at the bar. Rhonda makes you feel like you are in someone's home. Funny, focused, memory better than an elephant and funny. She makes the place unique and... More

The food is great, well prepared, superb taste and more or less good service, the place is all right, what a good sushi place must look, very good location in the Alamo Heights-Lincoln Hights area in San Antonio, but a bit expensive for what you are recieving.

We were excited to try this place based on the rating and word of mouth. Unfortunately our experience was pretty bad. When we walked in, there was no hostess, so we waited until she came back. Another couple came in the door and pushed me out of the way to stand closer to the hostess's desk. When she came back,... More

Went the other day with my sister and niece! We ❤️this place. The sushi rolls are great and the service is always good. Personal faves are the tuna tower (appetizer), rajin Cajun, Q roll and the delicato roll. Def recommend and can't wait to go back!
