Description
New Japanese Sushi Restaurant in San Antonio, Texas. A buddy and I were hungry for Sushi and decided to search Yelp for places close to our hotel. Besides the expensive chain restaurants, we saw Kita's. All of the reviews were great and we decided to try it. It is a small, casual, unassuming local restaurant. Kita is the owner/operator from Tokyo via Aspen, CO. We went for happy hour (his version of 10% off meals as he does not have a liquor license). With appetizer, miso soup, salad and two excellent rolls, my meal came to $18. The sushi was fresh and very tasty. I would like to give him a great review on Trip Advisor to help drum up more business for him. It was my first visit and won't be my last. I am a Captain in the U.S. Army on TDY here for 9 weeks and looking for great local places to eat. I love helping out other travelers in finding good eats wherever I travel and have found great places via TA many times. It is a great service and I am thankful.
