Could not soft-boil an egg. Vegetables once came burnt black in spots, and manager said that was their style of cooking them..

We always read the reviews before visiting a new restaurant. For our tenth anniversary, we decided. To try Sustenio at Eilan. We have been to Eilan before, but only ate at Piattis and Ruth Chris....we also love George’s Keep. So, first of all this hotel...More

It is a horrible service coma even in the weekends the hostess is telling the client that they only have two waitresses for all the people in the rush-hour coma deferred it’s OK And the buffet sucked!

Have only eaten breakfast here many times, never disappointed. There are traditional and unique items on the menu. Some surprising inexpensive options like breakfast tacos. All are great! Service is outstanding, ask for Timothy, he’s the best! Go! Enjoy!

The food was excellent. Something to suit everyone in the family. They also offered a very good wine selection.

Happy hour has some nice treats. Dinner will be on the pricy but affordable range. Other restaurants within walking distance include Piatti and Ruth Chris steak House.

Sustenio is a hotel restaurant - you can dress clothes (suits for men or dresses for ladies) or you can be casual. I've only been there once, but I don't imagine anyone would be wearing shorts in there, too nice of a place... More

Come home to Sustenio restaurant & bar and experience the local food you crave from Texas' first James Beard Award winner and the leading authority on Modern Texas Cuisine, celebrity Chef Stephan Pyles. Sourced from local Hill Country farmers and purveyors, the "wood-fired meets cast iron" menu includes everything from small plates at the bar to a contemporary take on comforting dishes, such as Honey-Fried Chicken and Hickory-Grilled Cowboy Ribeye. Pyles has added his familiar favorite signature Texas dishes and cocktails for San Antonio and the Hill Country to the menu. Welcome home to the relaxed bar, dining room and lounge at Sustenio overlooking the Texas Hill Country at the Eilan Hotel & Spa.
