Went on a Monday after a huge storm for breakfast. A fourty five minute wait to get a table. This place really needs to work on turning its tables faster or hiring more help. Food was good not great but it is a beautiful quaint place.

Got a tip to go for breakfast. So happy we went. The food was fantastic and the property itself - grounds, heritage home, patio, gift shop, everything was amazing. Luckily, we went on a weekday morning and did not have to wait at all for a table. A truly enjoyable experience.

We had to wait 1 hour and 15 minutes but it was worth the wait! We sat outside on a bench by the river waiting with beautiful views, also you can walk around the museum and store upstairs. And they have coffee and water while you wait! I got the huge breakfast platter with biscuits, gravy, eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes...AMAZING... More

This restaurant was referred to me by a friend, & he wasn't exaggerating on the quality of food. It was amazing!

Foolishly, we didn't pay enough attention to getting there early on our Sunday morning in San Antonio, and the hour and a half wait was a bit much for me. BUT: great pancakes and other food, superb service, beautiful grounds with many places to walk and sit while you wait, friendly people.... Basically, they've done a wonderful job of keeping... More

Good food! But it is not by any means worth one hour and forty five minutes wait, my first time and my last time at this place

We came across this place after trawling various options and saw how many people liked it and we have to agree. Food was good, as was the service. We sat outside on the patio which was very nice. The birds were a little annoying and very determined to get any leftovers so eat everything! The breakfast tacos were tasty and... More

Dine inside an old historic home or on the outside patio. Restaurant is run by the flour mill which makes all the breads, which are excellent. Known for their waffles, their sandwiches and enchiladas are also excellent.

When I travel I look for unique dining experiences. The Guenther House provided a nice breakfast in the beautiful King William neighborhood of San Antonio. We were seated outside which was very lovely. I ordered the strawberry waffles which were delicious. My partner ordered the 1851 breakfast which consisted of 2 eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy. He was pleased as... More

We went on recommendation of someone we met at another restaurant. The brunch was delicious. We loved the atmosphere. It was so nice sitting outside on the lawn. Being able to browse the gift shop while waiting for our table was a bonus.
