We had a relaxed and enjoyable experience. As a popular spot we thought it might be loud and hectic but that was not true on our Friday evening. The food is the buzz and although the menu is brief, each item looks enticing. We had the artichoke au gratin appetizer which had a tasty zip to it and went well... More

We ended up here based on TripAdvisor. The food was excellent! Everything was great. Our waitress was super sweet, however I was less than impressed with the "sommelier" I would absolutely recommend this restaurant.

We ate here last night in the courtyard. Felt like we were in Europe. Quiet, quaint, and good food. The portobello was packed with flavor. Only negative is service was slow. That wasn't really a negative, though because the atmosphere was so nice. Different from the chaos of the river walk.

Upper end in price and offerings, yet also has a burger. Loved the blue crabcakes, and my friends loved the shrimp churrasco. The desserts are also great - we had the molten chocolate, the bread pudding and the pumpkin creme brulee, and all were excellent. Indoor and outdoor seating, and great atmosphere.

Good place within walking distance of the river walk Nice atmosphere, enjoyed calamari while companions had chili cheese Mac truffle fries and lava cake. Everything was very good albeit a little pretentious. Nice place I would return

When you want a break from Tex-Mex, don't miss Zinc. Food was delicious, it wasn't too noisy, and the service was good.

Food was fantastic, and service top notice. We sat out side in the court yard and it felt like being in Europe. Nice a quiet during the hustle of fiesta. A welcome break from the commercial Mexican food on the River walk. It was so good, my group came back a second night.

Description
Our chefs have painstakingly created a menu of wine-friendly fare consisting of old world hors d'oeuvres and regionally inspired tapas. From baked Texas goat cheese with kalamata olives to fresh chocolate covered strawberries, the menu caters to the diversity of the food enthusiasts.
Charles Court, at the rear of Zinc, is a truly serene gathering place for a rare outdoor experience. The private, spacious courtyard makes for a quiet sanctuary from the clatter of downtown city streets and the Riverwalk.
