Not your mamas cooking but better than taco bell. I would say the cashier was too hyper and rushed people ordering but the rest of the staff was great. Ordered the shrimp quesadilla but when I got it, it had half the filling of the pic. A little pricey for what we got but tasty.

The food is inexpensive, but really good. We filled up, and took some with us for later. The staff was friendly. Our meal was prepared quickly. The salsa bar was fresh. Enjoyable for the price. Try the street tacos.

TC has been our choice for breakfast tacos for well over 30 years. The service at the counter can vary according to the experience of the employee and level of traffic. Also, the taco makers vary considerably in the amount of ingredients they add to the taco. Last week the chorizo and egg wound up with almost no sausage. Some... More

Drive thru Open 24 hours which is a plus for those of us that work close by on the night shift. Food was good and reasonably priced.

For Jaz, a visit to Texas is to savor real breakfast tacos, not the poor imitations from places like McDonald's who used the misnomer of breakfast burrito. Yuk! Potato and egg, potato chorizo and egg, bacon and egg, egg and cheese; the varieties are almost endless. A salsa bar with fresh Pico de gallo, red, green, and roasted salsas and... More

This is the place for great fajitas. They are hot and melt in your mouth. Always fresh and a hint of a smoky taste.

We took a road trip to San Antonio and wanted something to eat as we were leaving, so we stopped in to Taco Cabana... I thought it would be a nicer place than it was, there are no waiters, self serve, order then have a seat.. Food was OK but not what I was expecting.. Not much different than a... More

Quite a variety to order from the menu. Decent Mexican food at an awesome price! The strawberry margarita is quite tasty too

I ordered half pound brisket with all trimmings and chili con queso to go. Got home, unpacked, chips were all broken up into little pieces, looked as if someone had crushed them in hand before putting in bag. The brisket was all smushed up looked as if it had gone thru a meat grinder and tasted horrible, looked liked pulled... More

A guy I work with suggested we stop at Taco Cabana while we were in Texas. He told me it was fast food, but it was good quality fast food and was one of his favorite places to stop whenever he is in Texas. He wasn't wrong. I was extremely surprised at the quality of the food at Taco Cabana!... More
