Very colorful and Mexican themed but food was only ok. I got Heuvos rancheros and the eggs were dry and overcooked with very little sauce. I used some of the salsa from the chips & salsa to moisten them. The refried beans were puréed. And the salsa itself tasted like it was from a jar. The bacon however was fabulous!!!

We met a couple here for lunch one day during our trip to San Antonio. Service was great! Food was great! We loved this place. They offer breakfast 24 hours a day. My husband and I will definitely be back.

If you're a tourist or a local, Mi Tierra Cafe & Bakery is a "MUST". Located in the Market Square district of S.A., thousands of Mexican food lovers have enjoyed the traditional "Tex-Mex" food fare that has become a standard for this lovely city. Food plates are hearty and tasty with the service being good, for a busy establishment. Make... More

Mi Tierra is my favorite Mexican (Tex-Mex) restaurant that I've ever frequented. The food is outstanding and the servers are warm but still very efficient. The bakery and the bar are a must. Also, very Mexicano decorated.

Some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. Reasonably priced, large restaurant; lots of seating and nice atmosphere. Wait staff was exceptional and so very pleasant. They also offer a military discount. Would definitely go back. It's located in Market Square, so lots of browsing and shopping to do.

Where to begin...I'm part Mexican and this was amazing and authentic. Very clean and spacious. Great $3 margaritas during happy hour. Outstanding customer service and seated promptly on a busy Sunday. I love tamales and most places don't get it rigrht. These were the bomb. I want to go back now.

Haven't been in a while and thought about trying it out. Still looks great and servers friendly. Food was mediocre though. Gorditas were not flavorful and enchiladas bland. Best to try La Marg next time.

There are a myriad of places to go in San Antonio to eat authentic Tex-Mex food, but Mi Tierra is the grandmother of them all and is the best in town. They are open 24 hours a day and you can eat breakfast all day. It is a must-stop when you are in San Antonio!

Authentic Mexican food in the heart of downtown. Don't valet there, it is a pain and most of the time it is at capacity. Park across the street and walk thru market square for some awesome shopping. Order been and cheese nachos for appetizer with your favorite Mexican draft beer (yes, they have them on tap). Can't go wrong with... More

The food is good here. Pretty standard Mexican American fare. I sat at the bar, the bartender was attentive and made good drinks. The view was lovely on the Riverwalk. Easy to get to from the Marriot River Center.
