I am from NY so I don't get to eat a lot of "authentic" tacos... but from what I hear these guys make an authentic taco! I love coming here when I am in San Antonio. I am a tex mex addict and I can't get enough of their homemade flour tortillas... they are heaven. The service is great (sweet... More

Being in San Antonio my wife wanted a Mexican breakfast and had wanted to eat at Taco haven. She had the Migas and I had one of the specials. The food was average, the service was good but a little slow. My coffee cup and silverware were dirty.

Located on the edge of the historic King Williams district. It was a sprawling restaurant specializing in Mexican food. The restaurant is colorful and neat.

Went their with a group of about 15-18. Granted, we didn't all get there at once but 30 minutes after we were seated we finally had to ask if we could place our order. We had been served our drinks and cops & hot sauce. You know in Texas we 1st judge a restaurant by the chips and hot sauce.... More

The food is good, but whether you will get seated quickly on a Saturday or Sunday is hit or miss on the crowd. Recommend the Huevos Rancheros-tje the best! Migas regular or A la Mexicana are good too. The Chili Relleno (?) and Mole is good too. Tortillas are always fresh. Grew up around the corner, so ate there regularly.

After reading many terrific reviews about Taco Haven, my husband and I set out from our hotel to find this place. It was over a mile walk to get there but worth every step we took!! We were seated right away and the restaurant filled up quickly. The service was efficient and friendly. We ordered 2 breakfast tacos each (including... More

The food was good but they didn't give enough meat on the Olga special taco salad and the beef was kinda tough.

Had their chile reno and tasted like yesterdays left overs. The cheese crust was hard and burnt. I was never asked what type of tortillas I wanted and i got flour, hate them. The place was very noisy and don't forget to bring your own fly swatter.

The locals suggested as a pace to go. We did based on walkability, but our timing was breakfast. Maybe things would have been better if it were lunch or dinner. Our eggs tasted like chemicals and the tortillas were mushy. Server was very sweet and was very attentive, just not great food

Thank Kelly S
