My husband and I arrived in San Antonio late Friday evening and we were looking for something to eat. We wanted something different... not a chain... something we couldn't get from home. We looked it up and we found this little spot. They do have a parking lot... kind of... or you can park in the street. There are other... More

As Belgians living in the usa we like to try Belgian cafes and restaurants, hoping the experience will make us feel at home. We tried the shrimp bisque and we were very disappointed: way too salty and no little pieces of shrimp to be found in the soup. We tried different preparations of mussels and they were all delicious. The... More

Enjoyed the salad and with dressing on the side. Small but pleasant experience. I did not taste it but the Shrimp and pasta looked great too.

Early Friday evening dinner worked out well. Good wine selection and shared a house salad...good greens but the salad dressing was rather bland. The wife had mussels (her favorite) and fries while I had the peppercorn steak with fries and fresh vegetables. Both meals were super. Great restaurant for a change of pace. Worse thing is parking which is virtually... More

Original restaurant off the tourist radar. Great service, yummy mussels, tender steak, and nice wine list. If you want an original cafe near downtown, this is the place.

This place was a delightful respite from the hustle and bustle. Cute place with great food with big portions. Very tasty and wish we had time to go back

So good to get away from the Riverwalk. The food was even better than expected. Mussels in pesto garlic wine sauce, duck confit with polenta, creme brulee....all nearly perfect and amazingly tasty. Weekday evening, service was great as well. Just do it.

Outstanding nice little French bistro. Small place in King William area. The mussels are outstanding. I would suggest a reservation due to its size and popularity. The evening I went the restaurant was smokey due to poor ventilation, but the menu is varied. I had the escargot which was nice and the mussels were outstanding.

Friends suggested this place with glowing reviews, but, sadly, it was one of the worst dining experiences we've ever had. We had reservations, but we were rudely dismissed to the bar for a 25 minute wait with no drink service of any kind, despite repeated attempts. We were finally escorted to a table, again rather rudely, only to be ignored... More

After coming back from Paris, I'd been longing for Parisian food. A Belgian bistro is probably the closest I'll get! The food here was good. I wish the French fries were a little cooked more thoroughly. The mussels could have had a little more meat to them. I appreciated our server, too, who didn't seem to mind my husband's and... More
