Stopped in before the UTSA football game for a quick bite and a good brew. Located at the Pearl and attached to Hotel Emma, the layout inside is open and inviting. We just wanted a quick bite - so we shared the pretzel and the...More

If you like micro brews and great food, come on in. The food is great especially if you are there with people who have different tastes. The menu is varied, but everything is great. The beer is mistly made in house, I enjoyed many different...More

This is a great redevelopment project in San Antonio. The menu selections were very good and the service was quick. I would recommend the deviled eggs appetizer. The shrimp boil was good and the serving was big enough to split between two people.

The Southerleigh is located at the Pearl which is a trendy spot in an up and coming part of town. Most of the restaurants are on the pricey side. Also this restaurant is in a remodeled grain mill and had an odd musty smell that...More

A group of women gathered for a late lunch. The restaurant attached to Hotel Emma is dripping in character and vintage feel to match the hotel! Loved it, but the acoustics are awful because of that. We literally struggled to converse with the person across...More

This is a very, very, very cool venue! It is a restaurant of Hotel Emma. The beers are made here in the old Pearl brewery and the restaurant, like the hotel bar, are set right in the old brewery with all the vats and pipes...More

We had a large group here for a board dinner and really enjoyed the restaurant. Cornbread, green beans and grits served family style, along with crusted redfish and ribeye. This place is a brewery first and foremost, but they do have wines.

Delicious plentiful food, casual atmosphere, delicious beers. Loved the location, the ambience. After dinner we walked around The Pearl district, very peasant evening.

We ate here in the evening at an outdoor table. The service was excellent as provided by Larry. We had tacos, redfish, jalapeño grits, fried chicken and Mac & cheese. Everything was great but the jalapeño grits were the best grits that I’ve ever eaten....More

You will not need them. It is very warm here this time of year. If you have an evening reservation, it should be no less than about 12-15 C outside, and humid.

Casual-khaki, jean, or any nice shorts, t-shirt or polo, summer dress, etc. I wouldn't wear swim attire, tank top, or muscle shirt.
