Not really, but I got your attention! Went here on a whim, had to sit at the bar, spent a small fortune and would do it all again in a heartbeat. The food here is remarkable even by the high "Friday Harbor" standards.

Craig, Thank you for writing. We love to hear that you had an amazing experience. I am a bit puzzled about your comment about a bar though. Coho Restaurant is a small intimate dining room with 9 tables. Perhaps that was also meant to get our attention! lol! Chef Bill and our team do have very high standards and we... More

So off-season dining in Friday Harbor is very limited. Our concierge suggested the Coho. Although initially apprehensive due to their minimalist menu, we were eventually swayed by the fact that almost nothing else was open. We came in to the very intimate and warm dining area. Greeted by wonderful staff we were promptly seated. The bread was fantastic and the... More

Harley, Thank you for dining with us and we certainly appreciate your comments. Our team wants nothing more than to exceed our guest expectations. We so wish that you would have let us know table side if your meal was not prepared to your liking. Then we would have had the opportunity to make it right so you could have... More

While we've been to Coho a few times before Dec 30th, it was just the two of us. This time, we brought along six of our best friends for the treat. If you eat there before 6 pm, you get a three course meal that includes a bottle of wine for $70 - yes, that $70 for the two of... More

Terry, It was great to have you back for dinner at Coho Restaurant and thanks for bringing your friends along this visit. We so appreciate our guests evangelizing on our behalf. It is the best validation for what we do. The 2 for 70 or Chef's Tasting is a great option and terrific value. Where else can you get three... More

Six of us went for their New Years Dinner. Neat unique setting in an older house. Food was well prepared and presented. Waitstaff were very accommodating.

When we visited this restaurant in July 2016, we had a horrible experience. The dining room is tiny and we were jammed into a table adjacent to both the kitchen and the bathroom. The restaurant had several large parties who were well into their fifth or sixth bottle of wine and had lost touch with how loud they were speaking... More

Bill, Thank you for dining with us and taking the time to write about your experience. There is nothing more frustrating for our team to hear than learning we didn't exceed your expectations. We only wish that you would have said something to your server or let us know while you were still in Friday Harbor. We feel rather helpless... More

When looking for places to dine in Friday Harbor, Coho caught my eye and I'm so glad it did. This is a small space so reservations are a must. That said, we were very comfortable and had a relaxed meal of terrific food with great service. We shared starters of wild mushroom ravioli and Alaskan spot prawn cakes, both exquisite.... More

Thank you for dining at Coho Restaurant. Our team loves hearing from our guests when we exceeded their expectations. We humbly want to learn where we can improve. Our wine list has many gems particularly those frrom boutique Washington producers. The Abeja Chardonnay is one of our favorites made from estate Walla Walla fruit. We receive a limited allocation each... More

We had a lovely dinner with interesting ingredients. Plates are on the small side. Had octopus that was delicious. Wouldn't have wanted to be there with a large person. Small, close tables but wonderful service! Not romantic as the tables are sooo close.

Dustella, Thank you for dining at Coho Restaurant. Our small intimate dining room is sometimes cozy on busy nights. Chef Bill features a number of small and large plates on the menu. We were wandering around the town looking for a place to eat dinner. We came upon this restaurant and were intrigued by the menu and the early bird 2 for $70 special. After going inside and talking to the hostess, we made a reservation. From the moment we walked in to sit down, until we left, the entire experience was... More

We too ordered the from the prix fixe menu and were more than happy and satisfied with everything; the wine, salad & soup, main courses, and finally the flavorful house-made ice creams. Reservations are recommended, don't miss this charming establishment!

This is a very small restaurant, with the appearances of being in an old house. The service was absolutely excellent- as was the food. I had a duck ragout and it was divine. I would highly recommend this place.

Rammina, Thank you for dining at Coho Restaurant. Our intimate dining room is set in a historic house, actually in what was the parlor. With only nine tables, reservations are definitely recommended. We have a great team and love sharing Chef Bill's cuisine and the bounty of the Pacific Northwest with our guests. Anna Maria More
