Giving this restaurant 4 stars instead of 5 was painful. The food was absolutely fabulous; the staff was friendly and knowledgeable when pairing wine with food. But -- and this is a big but -- the restaurant was too dark. With only nine tables, the...More

Debra, Thank you for dining at Coho Restaurant. We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your meal. We are sorry that our lighting was a deterrent from an amazing dining experience. We would have been happy to raise the lights. With our long summer...More

Located in Friday Harbor away from the crowds on Front Street, this little gem provided great fresh food and personal service. I had the Halibut, served with fresh veggies, the tomato corn chowder, a palate cleanser and warm bread. The staff customized a dish for my...More

My waiter was very loud to the point of being annoying. They did not have the gin I wanted but no problem they had an adequate substitution. My gin and tonic was served in a small glass that resembled a juice glass. I ordered a...More

This small, quaint restaurant is in an old house. The menu is creative and everything was delicious with an emphasis on local products. Good wine list and lovely, personal service. A great place for finer dining on the island and well located near the ferry...More

This restaurant is located in Friday Harbor, a bit off of the waterfront, and we were able to walk to it from the B&B where we were staying. We made reservations in advance, although they did have to call us to change the time. The...More

This restaurant was highly recommended by a friend who owns property nearby. So, we made reservations well in advance and arrived with great expectations. Our expectations were not met. The food was good, but nothing special or out of the ordinary in terms of creativity....More

Thank you for sharing your experience at our wonderful little restaurant. We totally understand why you want to keep Coho Restaurant a secret. With only 9 tables seating is surely limited. Our Chef's tasting is by far the best deal on the island -not only...More

Highly recommend. Service was very good. Food was great - Salmon for the husband - perfectly prepared. I had a lightly smoked duck that was scrumptious. We can be wine snobs and were quite taken with the quality of the house red.

This is a small restaurant in what used to be a home. It has a small but delicious menu from the appetizers to the deserts. The service is excellent. Only one caveat, as it is a small space, it can get noisy. For us, there...More

Fred, Thank you for sharing your dining experience at Coho Restaurant. We appreciate your comment about the noise. Our dining room is normally very quiet. When we host larger groups, we have found the noise level increases. We removed the glass tops and found that...More

This is a tiny restaurant just a few blocks from the harbor. Reservations are a must. The problem is that it could and should be a friendly, somewhat casual but foodie-oriented place, not try to be a high-end super-exclusive uber-restaurant. The service is just weird....More

We currently have 6 entrees on Coho Restaurant's menu and 1-2 specials per night. Many guests choose to enjoy a couple or three small plates in lieu of a larger entree.
