Our group of eight chose Backdoor Kitchen from TripAdvisor and a recommendation. We were very pleased. This is a very small restaurant; a reservation is absolutely necessary. We were well pleased with the food (the chef recommended scallops or lamb chops that evening) and the service; the pace was not rushed. Likewise we were pleased with the work behind the... More

Ate here with Aaron's Photo tours. We pulled up in what looked like an industrial area and were a bit puzzled until we walked down a short path and into the garden. Open air fine dining at it's best. Excellent seafood, great vegetarian options and outstanding service. Highly recommended.

My wife and I recently had dinner here. She had the Indian dinner that was very good and I had the perfectly cooked pork chop. Our only complaint was with the service. There were only two people working the dinning area and the bar. There was also a group of ten at another table. I felt that we were forgotten... More

This restaurant is tucked back in an industrial area- not a location one would accidentally stumble upon. The food and wine selections were fine. We were very surprised that they use paper napkins- unusual for a fine dining establishment. We were displeased with the timing of our entree-we had specifically requested a nice break between appetizer and entree only to... More

We had high hopes for this restaurant after reading other reviews. The food was decent, but nothing really that great. We sat at the bar hoping for a relaxed meal. The bartender made that nearly impossible. She was practically yelling she was talking so loud with the other guests at the bar for the entire evening. Which we would have... More

We were told about the restaurant by another guest at our B&B. We went without reservations but were able to sit on patio. Very pleasant ambiance, food very good.

Very good food but was difficult to locate at first but worth the effort. Service was impeccable and no wait times.

Great food, an eclectic menu and a deep understanding of each dish on the menu. The mixed drinks and wine pairings recommended by our server were also spot-on!

Wonderful meal and delightful cocktails. I really enjoyed the savory basil martini. I had an excellent pork chop, my wife had the scallops and our daughter had the Ahi tuna, all excellent. Not heavy prep, but sort of a healthy flavorful almost light prep. Only complaint was service was attentive but slow, like maybe the kitchen had trouble keeping up.... More
