Visited again because I was craving the red chile cheese enchiladas. Did not disappoint. Food was oozing cheese, and the red chile was just right. Posole is a little spicy though. Went at 4 and missed the rush.

My husband and I get to Santa Fe about twice a year, and we always stop at Palacio Cafe. The location is convenient from the Plaza and from our accommodations. I don't know the name of the owners, but they are always there--she at the front counter and he in the kitchen. The food is tasty, with choices from New... More

We went for lunch today, early, and were pretty much ignored while the staff took care of locals primarily picking up food to go. One local came in after us, ordered, was served, ate, paid and departed before we were served our simple order of enchiladas. The food was not worth waiting for, excessively spicy. Make sure to ask for... More

Looking for a place to have lunch at a reasonable price and without a long wait, we walked down East Palace (off the northeast corner of the Square) and happened upon Palacio. Even though it was busy, they fit us in, and we had an enjoyable lunch: good, tasty, filling southwest food. Of course you must visit the Square; but... More

One of the best breakfast places in Santa Fe - STILL! Damian is friendly, remembers you, and always has a smile. A long time favorite for locals and visitors alike.

My wife found this place on TA. We arrived at around 1:30 on Monday, May 15, 2017 and were seated immediately. There were four other tables occupied, and the waitress was obviously quite busy with bringing out their orders and with busing tables, but she attended to us in a very timely fashion. I ordered the steak tacos, my wife... More

I really wanted to give this place a great review. They were very busy and obviously popular. But....we must have come at a bad time. We had to ask for everything. From coffee to silverware. We were never offered water. After waiting 30 minutes for our meal....which we had to ask several times to order....we found out that it had... More

Called and asked if they could accommodate 12 people. The lady asked me to hold so she could check. After about a minute, she came back and told me they could get us in in 10 minutes. We walked a quarter of a mile, and when we arrived, we got a very rude response from the woman. She said "I... More

The food here is amazing. Great little cafe. Enchiladas had a little more heat than expected (we are from colorado and each hot food often) The Tom Mozz sandwich was perfect. After a lond drive a glass of wine with it would've been perfect.

This busy spot near the cathedral was well worth the wait at lunch time! The servers were friendly and efficient and the food was greasy and very flavorful!
