We were staying at the Old Santa Fe Inn, and Tomasita's is only a two and a half block walk, though we drove due to it being night and us being tired. The food and service at the restaurant were excellent. The food includes all the normal southwest Mexican choices, including good quality red and green chili. We have visited... More

We were looking forward to some great Mexican food on our first night in Santa Fe, instead we were seated at the dreaded "Invisible table". You know the one that all the wait staff walks by because no one knows it's their table. We finally managed to order, the food itself was very good, the salsa was a little too... More

We stopped in the bar for a drink and a chance to rest our feet during a walking tour. I had a delicious Grand Gold Margarita, and my son had a craft beer. We were eager to return for dinner during our trip, but we did not make reservations. We were not willing to wait more than an hour for... More

This place seems very popular and was very busy the night we stopped in. I ordered the cheese enchiladas with a taco and it was average for me. The flavors are really good and the chili peppers are way hot so I wasn't able to enjoy the chips and salsa appetizers. My complaint about dinner would be the juices from... More

The first time we tried to eat here we went at 3:30 on a Tuesday and there was a 40 minute wait. Came back the next day at 2:30, still a wait but was able to get seats at the bar. There is only 8 to 10 seats at the bar. My husband ordered the sophapilla with meat with the... More

If you take the Rail Runner up to Santa Fe, then Tomasita's is a must stop for lunch! Amazing New Mexican cuisine and great prices! Their "swirl" which is a frozen margarita with a swirl of sangria is to die for!!!

My husband had a taco plate from the restaurant which he enjoyed very much. I wanted something other than Mexican food and ended up ordering stuffed olive leaves, of all things, at a Mexican restaurant… they were served warm with a specialty lime sauce and they were quite tasty. I asked the waitress how did stuffed olive leaves make it... More

As Santa Fe residents we had heard about this place from locals as being the best authentic restaurant in town. 1st of all, it's tough to get into this place, there's always a wait, usually long. But once in you will find great service and very good food. I don't care for spicy food, but was able to find something... More

Good lunch specials. Not a long wait on a wednesday afternoon. Margarita trail stop. Great service. Quick. Red and green sauce were good. I was indifferent. I liked both.
