This place is a little hard to find but worth it, as it's in back of a strip of other stores on Paseo de Peralta. Features free parking which is a bonus so close to the Plaza.

Off the path a ways usually means it's good. It was maybe the best meal we had in our visit. Service was excellent. Highly recommend it We had mole enchiladas and green chili burger.

We wanted one good Mexican food experience while in Santa Fe. Two other options were either closed or getting poor reviews of late. So we tried Mucho Gusto. The room is very basic, almost like the cafe in a small hotel in Mexico. But clean and pleasant. And the staff could not have been more friendly. My carnitas were tender... More

Obviously there are numerous Mexican style restaurants to choose from in Santa Fe. But Mucho Gusto is a great pick! We had a party of eight (including a 5 and 7 year old) and were seated in our own small room with a view of the front foyer. The wait staff was accommodating and the food was delicious! There were... Santa Fe is filled with fabulous restaurants, but not many are affordably priced while offering really yummy food. Mucho Gusto is tucked away but is right behind the Inn on the Alameda, our favorite hotel. So we usually eat at Mucho Gusto once or twice during the week when we visit Santa Fe. The pork burrito special was really excellent... More

Shared a meal of enchiladas and tacos with family. The sides were good, enchiladas were yummy but the tacos were a little bland. The hostess was very nice and so were the waitstaff. Many patrons were return visitors as they seemed to know the hostess. Overall, a decent experience for a casual dinner.

A mixed bag. It's a small comfortable restaurant. Service was good. The Bomb (stuffed chicken, with cheese sauce) was delicious. The Caesar salad was very good. The Green Chili Cheese Burger and seasoned fries, Not So Much. The hamburger was cooked on half correctly (med. rare) the other half was well done and not edible. The green chili tasted like... The restaurant is tucked away but well worth hunting out... the staff are friendly, food excellent ( the tomatillo sauce best ever). Reasonably priced.

My wife and I have eaten here many times and always have had wholesome and flavorful meals. Taste one of their light, simple and crispy home made tortilla chips and you will know what I'm talking about. If you are really hungry - have the "Bomb" - a pounded, shaped and stuffed chicken breast. All the entrees are good. The... More

If you are looking for good Mexican food in Santa Fe - you can do better. Nothing felt very special - there was virtually no heat in any of the dishes. We had tacos, enchiladas and some guacamole and queso. It sits back in a little shopette - so the ambiance is just okay. But, the service was great and... More
