A visit to this restaurant while you are in Santa Fe will make those in your party happy if they are looking for good New Mexican style food at a very reasonable price. There are loads of tables inside and out (seasonally), but that doesn't...More

But that is OK! Susan, at my airbnb said that this is where all the "locals" eat and it is really, really good. She is RIGHT about the food, but I think that, thanks to that pesky Internet, the tourists have found the place. And...More

We went here on a Wednesday evening right around 5 pm, it already had a wait, so it obviously is a popular spot. We sat out on the patio, next to the train tracks. Not a perfect atmosphere, but it was ok. Food was decent,...More

Had dinner here with my wife and another couple -- we come here about once a month and have never been disappointed! I usually book in advance, as La Choza is well known among locals and can get pretty crowded. Service is efficient and gracious!...More

Locals always know the best places to go! I enjoyed a delicious salad and a cup of posole, while my husband had blue corn taquitos. The service was great as well. Never saw so much pork in posole--and it was tender and delicious!

La Choza is popular and its't overly large. Make a reservation or you could be waiting well over an hour for seating. That being said, this was my favorite local food the whole trip. La Choza was just what I do like. Flavorful, hearty, but...More

Not sure about gluten free options but I would ask a service person. Average dinner price $15 to $30.
