We found this place when we drove by The Pantry and the line was out the door. The parking lot was full here, too, but we got right in. There is a lot more seating than it looks like from the storefront. There was a...More

Excellent service! Excellent food and plenty of it. Mr Wings had a stack of 2 blue corn pancakes and couldn't finish them both. I had the special, an open face omelet. Both were outstanding.

While not too high on the quality of the coffee......which is really an important part of any breakfast....This place gives a good, voluminous breakfast. Maybe slightly overpriced, but no real gripes, otherwise

We went for breakfast. We were in Santa Fe 17 years ago and remembered Tecolote's great muffin basket. The restaurant has changed physical locations and now has much more room and better parking. The food is still great.

Our first visit to Tecolate Cafe—some years ago—was to a small stand-alone building with great charm. Two years ago, Tecolote moved to a larger location in a strip mall. Upside: more space and parking. Downside: most of the charm and ambience got lost. But the...More

We have gone for years to the Cerrillos location. When recently meeting friends they told us it was on St Michaels. Big change. Better parking, bigger restaurant space, same great food and amazing service (I don't say that lightly) Everyone loved their food ( and...More

Moved from old little place on Cerrillos, to a much bigger but less visible location with scads of parking, in the shopping area on the south side of St Michaels Drive, turn in between the Clock Tower and Carl's burgers. Continues to be a local...More

What a great place! The service was attentive and great! Our server was fantastic! It was quick, delicious and plentiful. The price was reasonable. We would definitely go again!

Loved breakfast here, had the corned beef hash and green chile stew. Meals come with a pastry basket that's perfect with the chile. Family run and pleasant!

Husband and I have been going to Tecolote for over 20 years and our last visit a week ago was one of the best. That's a high bar to raise and we had noticed on some of our visits during the past year were less...More

Tecolote Cafe was started in 1980 by Bill and Alice Jennison with a desire to feed guests great meals, affordably, with superior service. Mr. Bill and Alice's recipes have been pleasing palettes for 31 years. In May of 2010, sadly, we lost Mr. Bill after a long and accomplished life. Since August 2010, Katherine Adkins (Bill and Alice's daughter) and her husband Matt Adkins have been doing their best to honor Mr. Bill and Ms. Alice's vision in carrying on the family business. Sadly we also lost Ms.Alice in December of 2012. We offer a varied menu focusing primarily on New Mexican breakfast and lunch cuisine, as well as some American favorites. We bake all of our breads in house as well as our muffins and biscuits contained in our bakery basket. A little known secret to our great burgers? Fresh baked Kaiser rolls to vehicle our superb patties and ingredients. Whether you come for breakfast or lunch, we are sure you will be pleased with our delectable choices and our warm, friendly atmosphere. If you aren't, just let us know so we can make your experience everything you hoped for!Katie and I can't wait to see you on your next visit. So, come on in, and remember, we serve "Great breakfast, No toast!", just for you.
