Six of us decided we wanted a special lunch so of course we chose Gabriel's. It's not really in Santa Fe, it's 12 miles north of Santa Fe but well worth the drive! We all chose separate items and were totally please. The service was...More

I've had both the ribs and the pollo la mesquite. Both were generous portions and delicious. The sauce on the ribs could've been much spicier, but they were so good that I finished with no complaints. the atmosphere is wonderful with a slight view of...More

Dinner. Two steak (skirt steak) fajitas. Could have have one given the volume of food PLUS two sides. Meat perfectly cooked as requested for each of us. Choice of corn or flour tortillas. Try the corn! I substituted their house cor (yummy and different!) and...More

On a sightseeing trip through AZ and NM this was our first dinner in NM. The restaurant has a wonderful courtyard for outside dining with a view of the mountains. The service was a little slow, but we were in no hurry. The setting and...More

During a road trip through Colorado and NM, we stayed at the adjacent Homewood Suites so that we could dine one night at Gabriel's. As Arizona residents, we have access to many wonderful Mexican restaurants so we questioned whether Gabriel's would compare favorably. Friends and...More

We love stopping at Gabriel's in NM when visiting. The Guacamole is always fantastic, spicy salsa, light stone ground chips and my favorite this trip was combo #11, Guacamole Taco, bean burrito and the cheese enchilada(best). The tea was strong and tasty not cloudy.

I had been to Gabriel's years ago and thought it was worth returning but so not the case. They have renovated so we ended up in a backroom with no ventilation, no view and so cramped that the sizzling fajitas made ordering impossible which was...More

We had dinner at Gabriel's on our way back from Taos. We were early for our reservation but had no problem being seated outside on a lovely evening. We made a selection from the wine list and ordered the table side guacamole. There are many...More

The drive to the Gabriel's is breathtaking to start with. Our server was top notch. I am sorry I didn't get his name but he was super friendly and happy and made sure we were completely satisfied. The food was the best we had in...More

Our party of 4 went here since the reviews were high. The crab appetizer my husband and I split was badly burned, so the meal did not start out on a good note. We had the table side quacaole and the young man dropped half...More

Thank you for your review. I should read yours before I entered into the restaurant. I am with you for the services. Dang Poor! Wonder how they got the certificate of excellent??? Even Mr. Garardo, the restaurant manager, could not give me his personal card. Ha! Excellent but not professional, how about a good way of saying! Improvement! Improvement!

I have liked this restaurant for years, but this visit disappointed me. Service was notably bad and I didn't think the food was as good as I remembered. It's too bad because it was always one of the highlights of my trips... More
