The volume of reading material is astonishing and feel free to use these resources while enjoying the pastries and drinks.

We rented a house on Garcia street and enjoyed daily mochas from Downtown Subscription. The coffee shop has a variety of coffees, teas, breakfast pastries, quiche and wraps. Newspapers and magazines are also available for purchase. The restaurant has its own parking lot and seemed to be a favorite for locals and tourists.

Great atmosphere, great scones. Don't love the coffee. Wonderful for sitting around, reading the paper and talking to friends.

Enjoy your perfect coffee drink in a beautiful outside garden with a bubbling fountain and hummingbirds. This is Santa Fe in the morning or an afternoon caffeine jolt. The barista aims to please as does the staff with the drinks. Magazines and bakery treats are available. Also you do hear the most interesting side conversations, these Santa Feans are involved!!!

Great coffee. Cute inside and amazing outdoor garden. Nice coffee selection and they made my Macchiato perfectly.

The espresso drinks are superb. Great place to pick up some reading material and enjoy the great outdoors. When I visit, I'm here for hours.

My husband and I stayed at the nearby Inn of the Turquoise Bear and walked here every morning for a 7:00 AM latte before breakfast the inn. Best magazine selection in Santa Fe, and a most pleasant place to sip, read, and be quiet.

This is a great place to buy a paper or a magazine, buy some coffee and a breakfast treat, and then sit outside on the patio to enjoy the morning. People who live in the Canyon Road area frequent this coffee shop to visit with each other and share stories. Others just like to sit and read. Very relaxing and... More

We have coffee here two or three times a month. There are two reasons we come: the excellent choice of newspapers and magazines and the wonderful outdoor seating area. We don't come for the coffee, which is mediocre. With good coffee, Downtown Subscription would be the best coffee place in town. They could improve their coffee by choosing a higher... More

Come for the setting, stay for the coffee and teas. You will find this a relaxing place for locals and visitors. Stroll down to the book shop and photo gallery afterwards.
