Yes, a tourist can find every type of souvenir here. From great $5 T-shirts to tiles and toys. But I live in Santa Fe now and we still enjoy the store. Last Christmas it was the only place to find Chili Christmas lights. Lots of...More

We stopped in to purchase some forgotten sundries, but the real draw for the Five and Dime is the Frito Pie - a bag of Frito's slit lengthwise, topped with a scoop of chile, cheese and onions. Awesome!
Yes, one can get the much prized and despised Frito Pie here, but the place is valuable not for its restaurant but for the availability of small item needs, cheap souvenirs and over the counter drugs, etc.
Need something for the kids? Need to pick up something drugstore-ish you forgot - this is the place! The prices are right to pick up those little Santa Fe branded knick knacks that will be at least 50% more at the airport.

This store has everything. I collect magnets and I was able to find the exact one I was looking for. It is sometimes over priced on certain things, like $5 for a toothbrush but its great for souvenirs.
