In the midst of shopping on the square and on Canyon Road, we stopped for lunch at Cafe des Artistes. It's an unassuming little spot with tables outside and inside. We ordered our sandwiches and they were delivered to the table. Service is perhaps a bit slow but I can't imagine anyone would be upset by this. The owner prepares... More

We stopped in for a quick snack/respite from gallery viewing! What a sweet little spot! The owner was so welcoming and friendly. It was the perfect break! Although we didn't have lunch, the menu looked excellent! I would love an opportunity to try some of those sandwiches! His gallery next door is beautiful! Be sure to stop in there as... More

My wife & I stopped for a quick lunch between art shopping at galleries & it was the perfect stop. I had a thanksgiving lunch sandwich with turkey, dressing & cranberries, which was light & delicious. My wife had an equally tasty butternut squash soup, which was delicious as well. The owner was a delight to chat with as well,... More

My wife and I had a late lunch (2:30pm) here on a Saturday in the last week of October. There was only one person working, so he was doing everything. That said, he was nice and handled things pretty well. There are a few seats inside and a few more outside; we sat outside. My wife and I split a... More

This is an ideal place to stop, relax and enjoy a bite and beverage. The French owner is friendly, interesting and a major Santa Fe enthusiast.

As with most of Canyon Rd., mid-day is probably the best time to cruise the galleries. Cafe Des Artistes is a good place for a sandwich and drink and to just sit and watch and listen. Charming owner, salads and sandwiches can be quite good.

Stopped here for a break while walking the Canyon Road. A one man operation. We ordered gelato, it was prepackaged. Not necessarily a bad thing unless you like it freshly made.

We stopped by this cafe while touring Canyon Road as we were looking for a place to sit down and relax. Attracted by Jazz music , we walked into this cafe or maybe more like a cute convenience store where wine, drinks , snacks and gelato are available! The owner sat out on the patio with jazz music on the... More
