My friend and I ordered the steak sandwich. The steak was full of gristle and was very tough. I had to remove several pieces from my mouth. The desert was weird: a small tart with SALTY creme fraiche. The salt conflicted with the sweetness of...More

Friendly staff in a quiet and intimate space in the plaza area of Santa Fe. The food was very good, but our entree took an exceedingly long time to arrive. And when it did arrive, both our entrees were cold. Our waiter didn't seem as...More

Restaurant is on the Marcy St side and Taberna kind of behind it. Very different atmosphere and same good food. Creative, Spanish inspired dishes, excellent wine dish and really good service. I was just at the Taberna and sat at the bar, a great guitar...More

This restaurant has some good tapas. I have traveled extensively in Spain, and I would say the food here is creative, but not necessarily traditional Spanish tapas. It was a Friday evening and it was very crowded. I understand that, however, the tables are very...More

This dinner was like a gift from God... minimal hyperbole. Our kids slept through the whole dinner which made our dinner that much smoother, and I will give a little credit to the restaurant for a cool and calm atmosphere, but mostly to us for...More

Good tapas and a decent wine list. The atmosphere is quaint. Pricy. Great place for a quiet dinner. Just the right amount of food. Tried the fried Brussel Sprouts, fantastic.

This tapas place is first rate. I had the most wonderful calamari here, and I don't even like calamari! Everything is cooked to order and to perfection. I can't help but overeat here when I go. You MUST have reservations. The place is small and...More

This is a tapas restaurant with a couple of entrees. 2 dishes per person were plenty for us. Nice variety in the selection. Clearly a favorite with the locals

I don't know about the tasting menu, we had dinner there once in May and it was wonderful. I don't think you can go wrong here. Make sure you have a reservation.

Opened in 2006 by 8 time James Beard Award Nominee, Chef James Campbell Caruso. La Boca has the feel of a lively European wine bar, featuring an extensive selection of carefully chosen Mediterranean and South American wines. Knowledgeable and animated staff graciously guide customers to the perfect wine to complement their meals. La Boca also prides itself on being an ambassador of Spanish sherry culture, transporting its guests to Cadiz in the crisp cool flavors of Fino, or the deep fig-essence of a Pedro Ximenez. Full to capacity almost every night since its opening, La Boca has been a hit with both locals and the world travelers that visit Santa Fe. La Boca has earned numerous awards both local and national, including the Santa Fe Reporter’s “Restaurant of the Year,” and the International Wine and Food Society’s “Award of Excellence.”
