I love it here. The small plates are so good. We go every few weeks. I love the Tomato Soup so much I got the recipe and make it at home. But the menu items we love - the Risotto and Scallops, the Short Rib Sliders, The Calamari and Crab Cakes are so delicious. We do tell them to please... More

The staff is delightful, and the ambiance wonderful. The menu selections are eclectic, especially the cheeses, which include the finest selections from all over the world. I wouldn't say it's hidden or hard to find, since the entrance at the east end of the second floor definitely stands out. When you enter from the busy shopping floor, though, it seems... More

If you want a nice quiet intimate meal, this place is great. It's hidden in the Nordstom stores, a bit hard to find. The menu is all tapa style, so its best to share with a few, so you get a good variety. It's a bit on the pricey side, but everything is these days.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. It's in the Oaks Mall inside Nordstroms. All the items are small plate, good for sharing or eating solo. My favorite dish is the tacos and the fig and blue salad. The menu is changed seasonally. They also have a nice selection of wines.

The Tapas are generally excellent, and the wine selection is very good. However, it is not the cheapest place to try different wines in town. For being in a department store, the setting is fairly intimate.

One of the best kept secrets Nordstrom offers is the Blue Stove restaurant, usually hidden in the back corner on the second floor. The Thousand Oaks store has a testing kitchen attached, so there is always something creative going on. No matter - the food is always wonderful. And there is always a great selection of wines. After a long... More

We visit Blue Stove at least once a month. The smaller portions the eatery is known for are really perfect for sharing and ordering more than 1 dish per person if you choose. The wine selection is also quite nice and seems to rotate on occasion along with the main dishes.

Good food, modest portions, geared to lunchtime ladies and children in tow. My wife and I were looking for a light lunch, something we could share. We found it here. The small plate dishes - really the only way you can order food - filled the bill and are very tasty. We shared a salad and a variant of chicken... More
