We've eaten here a handful of times and have yet to be disappointed! The food is simple, as they don't go overly complicated and ruin the fantastic meat! You can even watch the meat smoke on the grill right off the sidewalk. We have gotten the chicken, tri-tip, pulled pork, beer ribs and pork ribs as well as several of... More

Superb tri-tip and excellent chicken, especially the Uncle Bum's sandwich. Fine outdoor seating, but not much indoors. The chili beans, baked beans, and green salad are excellent side dishes. They also make a mean burrito.

This place has been around since Reagan did movies in this area. The beef ribs are simply wonderful, the chicken breast sandwiches are fantastic, and they have a selection of sauces and things to put on your sandwich or just to slap on the meat. No other place makes it this basic. No frills, and no complaints.

TO Meat Locker has been a fixture in the area for decades. Came here in High School. The pork ribs are the best I have ever had in the country. Hands Down. You owe it to yourself to come try them.

A perfect setting for the 17 of us. Or even 2 of us. Great tri-tip and relatively inexpensive. The place looked ragged and old and not very clean. But so enjoyable sitting in the shade under the tree on picnic tables. We stopped here to get lunch on our way to Santa Barbara. Perfect choice for our humongous family. I... More

Two words, Uncle Bums! This place has been in Thousand Oaks since it was just 100 Oaks, LOL! The star on the menu to me is the Uncle Bums chicken. It is a Cajun style jerk recipe that is to die for. Every item is killer tho. The habanero hot sauce is bomb. Sit outside and enjoy goodness.

Fabulous little joint on the street Eat at picnic tables in what was the old parking lot. Best tai-tip, chicken and hot-link sandwiches. Baked beans and slaw with every plate

I ordered beef ribs, it was a little bit dry because its been sitting on for a while. The beef ribs was not tender at all, you have to fight it to get it.

I rate places based on what they are trying to do. The T.O. Meat Locker is not trying to be fancy - just good. This assembly line place is the equivalent of an awesome food truck. The meat is smoked in the morning and ready to serve for lunch. My five-star rating is based on the baby back ribs. That... More
