We had dinner in the bar with friends. Bread basket was to DIE for. We shared a bunch of apps, I had a salad and the others had dinner. Everything was delicious. The place is very busy most of the time. I like eating in the bar because there is less "snoot" than at a table. I don't particularly like... More

Mastros really delivers on taste and service. While it is certainly premium priced, my wife and I always leave feeling the excellent service and great taste was worth every penny. When in the mood for a steak, glass or red with possibility of romance, Mastros is your best bet in The Conejo Valley.

Mastros co tongues to hit it out of the park. This place is always wonderful. I really.like the seafood tower and it's worth the price and a fun event to share. Portions large and sharable. Butter cake at the end makes it complete.

food was wonderful as always. we had a very young waiter, but very attentive and everyone has to learn sometime so anything that he did not know is part of the learning experience. we all had to do it. because of heart health issues I typically do not ever eat meat, but once a year I have it. I had... More

My steak was overcooked but everyone else's was ok since it was my gf bday did not want to make a big deal about it. They did give her a slice of cake for bday which was nice. Rest of the food all looked nice. I can cook better this on my traegar grill. Maybe I'm picky I mean the... More

Upon our arrival, we received a pleasant greeting for our anniversary and again upon our departure (which was mentioned in our reservation). We were offered black napkins (rather than the white napkins already on the table) since we were wearing black and to avoid lint transferring. Our bottled water was kept on ice during our meal. Service was impeccable. The... More

Having met friends several times for drinks here, this was the first time for dining and I had quite high expectations since it was for my daughter's 21st birthday. First off, the atmosphere, although a little on the old fashioned high end steakhouse, is wonderfully subdued allowing for easy conversation and a refreshing break from all the newer "open concept"... We dinned at Mastro's Steakhouse in Thousand Oaks on Thursday 11/17 and as always, delicious! We ate in the bar with great piano & jazz music. We shared the Mastro's Salad and the Bone-In Filet w/sides of creamed spinach and onion rings! Always a popular spot with lot's of fun & action. Oh the high side, but worth it! 😍💓

My husband and I would frequent this restaurant on a bi-weekly basis when it first opened in our Thousand Oaks area, so needless to say we were very familiar with menu. Over the past 2+ years the experience has been on a slow decline. The portions have been reduced significantly, the sides use to be enough for 4 people with... More

A group of us went to dinner tonight and we had a very good experience. We were in a private room, which added to the enjoyment of the meal. The main dining room was very noisy and crowded. The seafood tower was delicious as were the steak and side dishes. Our server, Erin, was very patient and very professional.
