This place was a great stop when visiting Shenandoah National Park. Nestled in the town of Luray, West Main Market gave us very large fresh sandwiches and their menu had a lot to choose from ! Loved their beer and wine garden and an extra...plus was the live music ! Service was very attentive too.More

Great spot in Luray for lunch! It was busy and there was a long wait for lunch but the food was worth it. There was a covered outdoor beer garden with games and music which was very family and dog friendly. Great selection of hot...and sandwiches, soups, and salads. Kids menu and gluten-free options, a huge plus! Good selection of cold sides, chips, and cold drinks. Will visit again next time we are in town!More

We stopped in and had lunch as it offered gluten free options. Ordered the special of the day, which was a Muffalata. Very very good! Had outside seating and live music. Totally recommend it. Even went back 2 days later. 🍞

Very overpriced sandwiches (over $12) which came with nothing else….and were nothing special. Got a BLT…hardly any tomatoe and bacon undercooked and fatty.

This place is awesome! The deli has a huge variety of hot and cold made-to-order sandwiches, and they will bring them out to you as you sit at their new covered beer garden! It has a huge roof and ceiling fans and a little bar...with a good beer/wine selection, and they also have live music. What a great addition to the town - we'll be back!More

We went to Luray Caverns and decided to spend the night at the Mimslyn Inn in Luray and before checking in we stopped at West Main for lunch and enjoy the beer garden. The food was amazing and the staff super friendly. They have a...beer garden next to the Deli which was fantastic.More

We leisurely drove around the downtown area, zeroed in on this place. Recommended by front desk at Mimslyn Inn, another gem in this little quiet side of Luray... so we walked in, ordered and food in a brown bag was brought out to the tables...& benches outside where we sat in the sun. Sunny day, daffodils blooming on the side of their building. Food was warm & tasty, price reasonable for the quality ingredients. The soup could use a boost. The staff was very friendly, efficient. Too bad we missed the pork belly sandwiches they were preparing -- 2 days of cooking -- before the weekend.More

I thought "market price" was reserved for things like lobster and truffles, but apparently now it applies to sandwiches. We stopped here for lunch and there were no prices anywhere, printed or otherwise, so we each ordered a sandwich, a cup of soup, and a...drink. $48 later we got a decent sandwich, a bottle of Fiji, and a cup of thin, watery tomato basil soup that even Campbells could top. We stumbled on the West Main Market. The menu of lunch offerings/sandwiches is outstanding and the quality of the sandwiches themselves even better. Add to that the opportunity to sit and enjoy them in the Wine and Beer Garden and it all works perfectly. We...loved it!More

Stumbled upon West Main Market after visiting the the caverns. Pulled up to the restaurant and they have ample signage letting you know that they are doing carry out orders only with menus posted in the window. Place the order right outside the door and...waited in our car! We ordered a Reuben and a Cuban along with some crab chips! Both sandwiches were large, warm, and delicious!More

My daughter found this lunch spot for us to enjoy after our Stony Man and Mary's Rock hikes and before a visit to the caverns. Every thing was perfect. For covid you order and eat outside but it was an amazing day in valley to...sit outside. The service was faster than expected and the food was excellent. They make a super sandwich. Finally, it is located on the western side of Main Street closest to the caverns. It was easy to find parking on the street. If the weather were bad, it might be a problem, but the day of our visit was perfect.More

The food here is a bit above average. Though, because of the ordering during Covid (via telephone), there isn't much opportunity to ask about the menu. My sandwich arrived, without condiments and there was no offer for the condiments during the order. The elements of...my sandwich were good, though the avocado had no salt/pepper, so it was a little bland. I also waited for my sandwich (one), for 45 minutes. It was earlier than the lunch rush, 11 am and there were two orders ahead of me (a total of four people). I don't know how many pick up orders there were, but I felt like this is a ridiculously long time to wait for a sandwich. One car stopped to pick up an order and the lunch rush came 20-30 minutes after me. I was very confused about why I had to wait so long, while there were three working servers in the restaurant. While I love supporting local business, I'm not impressed getting a sandwich with this wait time, when I could easily get it elswhere in half the time.More
