Took myself and two seven year olds here for lunch one beautifil november afternoon. It was a weekday around 130. It is small inside and I could see that a busy weekend at lunchtime it would be tight in there. But for us it was fine. Of course during nice weather you could take it to go and eat outside... More

Definitely stop in for lunch while at the museum. They serve sandwiches, salads, and soups. Everything we ate today was fresh and yummy. And the price was great too! They are very nice here too!! We'll come back here again!!

it was a cold winter's day while visiting Dr. Seuss! Any time you can eat while visiting a place, take advantage of its food and convenience

the food is always well prepared and served well. I would eat there everyday if I lived downtown. The soups are the best and all the sandwichs are great.

Whenever I'm downtown and I need a quick place for lunch - I stop in at Blake House Café. The fare is simple (soup, salads and sandwiches); I have never been disappointed. I love the chef salad, and often add the grilled chicken breast as an extra protein. The Roast Beef sandwich has always been a winner. The staff at... More

Blake House Cafe and Benson's Bagels catered breakfast and lunch for a recent conference for 50 people held at the museum. Staff was incredibly helpful and food was fresh and healthy--we got lots of compliments on the quality of the food. A previous visit to the cafe to check out the offerings was a pleasant, if simple, experience. Highly recommend.

If you are enjoying the museums, plan to have a soup and/or sandwich at the Blake cafe. Not much atmosphere, but reasonable and tasty!!

We went on a quiet day after a bank holiday. It was nice compared to other museum cafes. They were just restocking everything, so the selection was not as big as usual. The sandwiches were tasty, and they stocked smoothies and in general a nice menu.

We ate at Blake House Cafe after a quick visit to the Dr. Seuss National Memorial Sculpture Garden. We were looking for a quick bite and were pleased to see on the menu salads, soup, and sandwiches. Seemed perfect. I ordered the chef salad and was informed that they didn't have any forks. Odd problem that would seem to have... More
