Late of the Train has some of the best coffee in town (as well as espresso drinks) as well as great service and a nice atmosphere. It's simply a bit more expensive than a lot of other places, so go in expecting to pay a premium.

Just driving from Grand Canyon to Sedona and spotted this place. Turned around and went back to it. Great local spot, dark brew for the day was fabulous, very bold and tasty, and I got a spicy chai w a shot of espresso. Definitely spicy, so if you don't like spicy you might not appreciate the heat, but I really... More

This is all that a local coffee house should be. Lots of great coffees and coffee mixes, with baristas on duty. Service is always friendly and fun. Seating for 20 or so, with some outside seating as well. One of two best coffee houses in Flagstaff, with Macy's being the other.

I love good coffee, when I come up here from Scottsdale we always stop by. Whoever is behind the counter will always take your order with a smile and can recommend something new to try. Like today, I tried the black and white mocha... Perfect blend and will definitely get again. Perfect patio to relax on too.

#1 favorite coffee shop around! The espresso has a rich flavor without being thin or burnt tasting. Go for a Dave's Rockhammer and you'll be loving life!

Kids' hot chocolate made to drinkable temperature (if you're a parent, you get this one!). Delicious housemade Chai. Rooibos tea was perfect. Cool little place, with friendly staff and delicious food/drink.

Thank Jeremy S

Late For The Train first opened in 1993 with the downtown Flagstaff cafe and they started roasting their own coffee not too long after, in 1996. Now there are three locations in the Flagstaff community that are supported by their first rate coffee roastery. Over the years they have maintained a level of quality that set them apart from the beginning. In addition to locally roasted quality coffee they offer a unique blend of mochas and chais, such as the Spicy Chai Latte where they give India’s national beverage a taste of Arizona with a touch of spicy peppers. The Coconino Mocha is a rich treat--ultra smooth and made in-house with premium chocolate and their hand-crafted cold-brewed coffee.
